Wonderful hotel !
The hotel was excellent, the room was very comfortable. Breakfast and service was good. The housekeeping team do a wonderful job, every day servicing the room - fitting in their work at any time that was convenient. All the hotel staff are very helpful and two of them went beyond the job requirement - Alison and Raisa. We enjoyed our stay in Valletta- the only problem are the steep gradients in the streets for us 'oldies' !

Avoid unless you enjoy staying in a sauna
This review should be a 5/5. The boutique hotel was outstanding, the location fabulous and breakfasts to die for. Unfortunately during our stay we had no control over the temperature of our two rooms and excepting a 30 minute period absolutely no air flow. So the rooms were hot and stifling all the time. The only option we had was to leave our door and window open affording us no privacy. Three times we asked for assistance but none came.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were really welcoming, particular mention to the Spanish girl in the bar, Veronica who was exceptional. Breakfast was lovely and again the staff extremely friendly. Location within Valletta was perfect for us, everything on the doorstep. Would stay again.

Hotel Gomerino - Winter sun stay in Valletta
Overall an excellent stay - swimming pool on the roof was special and access to a gym, sauna and pool internally was great too. Most impressive was the service on the front desk and at the bar and kitchen. The staff made every effort to give advice, recommendations and accommodate and their attitude was always helpful - refreshing in this day and age! Marina was excellent! The room was small but comfortable and clean. There were small ants in the bathroom which was addressed immediately; only gripe was that we stayed for a week and I was hot and sweaty under the duvet every night. A more regular changing of the sheets would have been helpful. Please note, this would not deter me from staying here again - great value and customer experience!
