The good: very clean. The bed is comfortable. Big showerhead (though the water does spill iver the floor under the door). Good location.
The bad: room is quite small. The owner is extremely passive aggressive on minor things (you'll feel bullied into handing over your key every time you step out of the hotel. Very weird and awkward). But the worst is the thin ceilings. It is in every description that the hotel does not accept kids, but a couple moved in above us with two small children and were horribly loud for hours on end (screaming, jumping, dragging around furniture). We had the most horrible night. On check-out, all the owner had to say was that they normally do not allow kids, but an employee had checked them in for reasons unknown, and without realizing... This really did nothing for us, obviously. As the cherry on the pie, we were told on the 23rd of December at 10:15am that we could not leave our luggage until 4pm when we would catch our train, as the hotel was closing for 3 days. There has been no mention of this before. When we asked for an hour hold to explore our options we were told to "not be late or you will not be able to get your luggage back". The owner just felt unwelcoming, passive aggressive and unpleasant. Plus, sleep was impossible on the 2nd night because they did not honor their own policy. Nothing was done to make it even remotely better.
