Good Vibe
Only stayed overnight, as we were on our way to Miami. The resort looked great, continental breakfast was included, and the marina and dockside supply store were impressive. The place has a certain charm. We hope to return to spend more time there.

Very dated, weird set up in the main building.

Nice resort
A good location to stay. Food in the bar/restaurant was excellent, service good. The only negative I have is that the walls between rooms are thin and you can hear your neighbours talking though the walls. We also we did not appreciate being woken up at 7:30am on a Saturday morning by the gardener using a loud motorised grass cutter outside the rooms. A number of other guests also mentioned it at breakfast.

Everglades experience
We loved the location and all the resort style amenities. The reception deck was friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is run down and needs a lot of love. Our room was spacious and convenient but needs more attention to cleaning and maintenance. The bed was fairly comfortable but only one thin blanket and 3 small pillows on a king size. The kitchenette was a nice bonus but very limited utensils etc. We loved the pool area, it closed early as there is no lighting. The grounds were once very beautiful. We played pickle ball on the tennis court and there are other activities available. It’s right beside the Marina where we did a Manatee eco tour. Which we enjoyed. The breakfast is limited to carbs with the exception of cold hard boiled eggs, oranges and bananas. But it was nice to have. It’s great value for the price!

Fair 4.0
When we entered are room used bathroom towels were laying on the sink, an opened soap wrapper on the counter and the soap had a dirty residue on it from somebody's hands who used the soap and did not clean it off. I grabbed a plastic cup to take off the protective plastic covering on it and it was wet and had an awful smell like mold on it. The pool was suppose to be heated and when inquiring about it was told it was broke and would be fixed in about 4 fays
