Check-In was easy, room was clean enough, bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The piece of door frame where the dead bolt goes was missing like someone had kicked it in and the dead bolt was a struggle to lock. Fairly dated motel. Still one of the better ones in Jasper though.

The room was decent for what we paid. It is an older lodge, not a hotel. The carpets could use an upgrade. The bathroom was nice, bed comfortable. Room was clean. The fridge seemed to die the second/last night we were there. I did let the front desk know. The train can be loud. Its directly across the street, so keep that in mind. We could hear people coming up and down the stairs(we were on the second floor close to the stairs), as well as people talking outside or walking by. Otherwise, for what we paid and a place to rest our heads after our adventures during the day, it was just fine.

Family suite
We stayed in a family suite so that we had access to a kitchen since there is no dine in in restaurants during covid. The room was spacious and had everything we needed to cook basic meals. We loved that there was a door to close off the bedroom so that you didn't hear the fridge running all night. There is a bar code to scan in the room to be linked to nearby restaurants, some of which even delivered right to the door! All in all a great place to stay!
