Big Bed - Small Room
Oversized bed in an undersized room. Kept banging my leg on the corner of the bed as I tried to get around it. Bar area closed way too early!

Another fabulous stay!! Arrived early in Chicago, and Darnell was able to get us in early to two spectacular rooms! I was on 6th and my friend on fifth with a terrific view of State Street and the Christmas Market! Had complimentary drinks at the Atwood Christmas eve, served by a great guy (I wish I could remember his name!) He was a lot of fun! Awesome sugar cookies, and Awesome staff!! I guess I should have put the staff first on that one, but anyway!! Thank you everyone for one of my happiest holiday experiences!!

Do something about your loud elevator.
My only complaint is that the elevator is sooooooo loud and is being used all night long. Our room was right by the elevator and kept me up all night. The elevator is obviously extremely loud and in need of repair.

Great place. Beware amenities
Place to stay! Right in the middle of everything with a great view of the city. I would say you should be careful of is if you’re use anything in the room it gets taken out of the amenities fee so the free water bottle is not really free despite what it says on the little card they give you. You were paying for that water bottle.

Beautiful hotel and views
Great location and beautiful historic facility, friendly staff. Not sure about the junk charges, as they put $50 on my credit card which wasn’t credited, even though we bought nothing extra. Then I was charged $8.50 for I have no idea what. But we appreciated the two free drinks.

6/10 Good

The room we stayed in had a terrible bathroom that needs renovating. The bath/shower had little water pressure and was actually dangerous because it was so narrow. There was only a pedestal sink so no storage for toiletrees. People were wonderful at the front desk, but it was hard to get real coffee in the morning (not from a Keurig). With so many options in Chicago we likely will not stay here again.

Crazy Stay
The ChrisKindle Market was opening the weekend of our stay. Upon arrival we had to drive for an hour downtown to figure out how to get to the hotel because the road was blocked off. We finally checked in only to find out the parking garage was closed until 11pm. We had to sit in the hotel bar and watch the car to make sure it did not get towed. The next night there was a shooting in front of the hotel. Not sure if i will stay here again.

Will definitely stay again.
Had a great stay. The only issue was the heat in the room was not great. The room was clean and the amenities were great. Loved the two free drinks at the bar and the fact they gave you a free water bottle with a station you can refill it. Restaurant looked really nice but we did not eat there.

Super location
Pineapple is within walking distance of Goodman Theatre and we are patrons. We stay at Pineapple each night we attend a play rather than take a late train 1 1/2 hours home. We especially like the bedding and the restaurant serves a nice breakfast. We have tried supper there, but the breakfast is the best.
