Awesome house with everything needed for a great vacation!
This was one of the best homes we have rented through VRBO. The owner thought of everything that might be needed. The house was immaculate and had plenty of beds to accommodate a large group. Fun games and water toys available. Easy check in, and the owner responded to all of our pre-trip questions very quickly. We would definitely recommend this house! The lake is a bit shallow for boating, but the sandy bottom made for great floating and swimming.

Labor Day dream weekend
We had 6 adults and 6 kids comfortably in this amazing lake house right on the water. The sunsets were beyond beautiful and the water was so shallow. The kids enjoyed swimming and playing on the huge yard they had. It felt very safe and the neighbors were wonderful. We had bonfires every night and the home owner was awesome with us. Thank you Mat for the unforgettable time at your beautiful and updated new lake house. It is so trendy and adorable! We can’t wait to come back!!!

Perfect Family Home
My large family stayed this week and the house was beautiful - everything is fresh & clean and professionally decorated, yet still kept that casual lake house charm. The master suite is on the first floor and was gorgeous and surprisingly felt really private for being off of the dining room. The upstairs bedrooms were all perfect for sleeping families of 4-5, with a larger bed for parents and bunk beds for the kids. They all had large closets which helps with the clutter when sleeping 4 to a room. Comfy beds. All beautifully decorated. The large yard and private access to the lake stole the show - we kept a cooler down on the dock and spent hours a day floating in the water on rafts and the two paddle boards that come with the house. We brought our kayaks and there is one more at the house, so we would kayak every morning when the lake was quiet. The lake was deceivingly shallow, which might not be ideal for a bunch of adults, but for us it was great that my 3yr old niece could touch in the water out past the end of the dock. We were on floats anyway so we didn’t really mind the depth. The only thing that could have made the trip better would have been having access to a boat, but couldn’t find a place to rent one. There were 11 of us (7 adults/4 kids) and hosts really thought of everything from having a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs to providing enough beach towels to having an extra fridge and freezer in the garage. The kitchen is well stocked for making meals and both the indoor and outdoor dining tables were large and seated 10. There are also 7 bikes, which we loved and rode around the lake every day. The 3 car garage was also a bonus! We found a local farmer (Shadberry Farms) who has a produce stand and connected with them ahead of time and they had lots of fresh produce and flowers and firewood ready to go for us when we arrived. We also ordered carry out pizza one night from Sporty’z Grill and it was really good! It was the perfect quarantine ‘staycation’ for us and we loved it! Would definitely go back!

Best Home on Bass Lake
My family and I hosted a family reunion at Bass Lake and stayed at this lovely home for a week. We rented two other very nice homes on the lake, but Mat's home was our favorite. We loved everything about the home. It is very clean, spacious, super comfortable and very tastefully decorated with terrific lake views. The large yard is wonderful for a family gathering and for kids. The pictures don't do it justice - you can walk out from the back patio directly to the deck on top of the boat house and enjoy a wonderful vantage point for the breathtaking sunsets. We enjoyed the SUP boards and the water toys and the kids enjoyed catching minnows off of the dock. I have rented many, many homes over the years, and Mat is by far the most wonderful host I have ever encountered. He is very responsive and incredibly flexible and just wants you to enjoy his lovely home. We surely did! I would highly recommend this lovely lake home.

Excellent place for our Family.
The Boathouse was just as described and more. There were 13 of us with two kiddos aged 3 and 6. Lots of space for us all to enjoy. Property was beautifully and all was very clean. The outdoor deck was our favorite spot.

Beautiful Lake House for a family
The home, property and location are perfect for a family gathering. The first floor is bright, modern and a open floor plan. The floor plan maximizes space by combining the kitchen and eating area which looks out to the beautiful lake. There is a master bedroom on the first floor with a full bathroom. When you step outside the back door you are greeted with the beautiful view of the large yard, pier and Bass Lake. The upstairs is more modest and efficiently maximizes the number of people who can stay with bedrooms and different bed configurations. The home is equipped with everything you would need, nothing has been forgotten. My boys loved playing Spike Ball along with Stand Up Paddle Boarding and the inflatable tubes that you could just sit and relax in. Mat was so great to work with. He answered all my questions quickly and during our stay he was always available. I can't say enough about this beautiful lake house. You have to go see for yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed. We will be back!!!

Boat house boastings
The property was perfect for our family with lovely modern beach decor and bright comfortable spaces to gather and play, and amenities to support tour very young grandchildren. The lake sunsets were glorious and our host very accommodating and friendly. The lake was low for motorcraft, but warm and fun to splash in. Highly recommend this property.
