GREAT location, plenty to do within walking distance. Room was dirty and had bottle caps on the floor, crumbs on the bedspread and the mattress was TERRIBLE......sunken down in the center and very uncomfortable.

Perfect location, a few quirks
Our room was clean... little things like dirty ice bucket, no extra toilet paper in room and dead remote batteries weren't deal-killers and all remedied quickly. The room is decorated nicely and charming to feel at-home historically which we love when we go to Savannah, not like you are in a modern hotel. Disappointed that we were charged full price with continental breakfast advertised but none provided along with no housekeeping service due to covid. Ice was only available by going to the front desk to get a bag. TP and towels brought to your room by request. The bed was very bouncy/saggy. We rolled to the center and stayed there so you better like your travel partner... a lot. Comfortable chairs and small table in the room. A mini fridge was definitely needed for drinks and delicious leftovers from lunches and dinners but was not provided so a lot of great food we brought back to the room ended up being tossed. The location is amazing... everywhere we wanted to go and newly discovered places were within 5-10 minutes walking distance of our room. The staff is friendly and the lobby area is beautiful with lots of seating with coffee provided. We don't feel like it was worth the price per night without all the amenities but we had a great time celebrating our anniversary after not being able to travel for a year.

A nice place, great location and a good value
Overall a great place to stay. Location was perfect for us as we love walking and so many things were close. Room was very clean, lobby was nice and plenty of places to sit & hang out. Coffee in lobby was nice & was really pretty good. Check in was a little disorganized. We drove from Charleston that morning, arrived around noon as paperwork said we could check in after 8am. We went exploring town for a few hours and got in about 2pm. Room was ready & nice. We were just glad we were not counting on that 8am check in.

Good location only
This place has a good location close to the river and The Pink House. However, the room was outdated. No thermostat to control the temperature. Just the old switch style. Windows fogging up preventing a good view of the square. Ding noise from the elevator should be turned off as to not hear it every time the elevator opened.

Don’t stay here!
The accommodations were so bad, we checked out after the first night. And want my money back

Good
The people at the front desk are great. They put me on the 6th floor as requested to get away from the noise. There is a parking garage next to the hotel and as high as the hotel. The hotel has single pain glass that does not stop sound very well. The late night partiers played their loud music, set car alarms off and revved their engines between 1am and 3 am. It was a terrible night sleep.

Perfect couple's getaway!
We just stayed at Planter's Inn for our 18th anniversary. The hotel is older with a small, cozy feel. Our bed was very comfortable, and Jennifer and Mark showed us impeccable customer service. The parking garage next door was convenient and the location of the hotel was perfect. We were able to park the car and walk everywhere we wanted to go. Zero complaints!
