Comfortable cottage with a large deck that enjoys picturesque views over the mangroves out to Mahurangi Harbour. New, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and oven. One good sized bedroom with queen bed, comfortable and fitted with quality linens. Second bedroom 1 double. Full use of tennis court and 4 kayaks. Most suitable for a couple who want a romantic weekend away but can accommodate two extra adults or two children.



Mahurangi Habour is a water playground where you can fish, paddle, kayak, sup and swim. Scotts Landing, oyster farms on your doorstep, beautiful day walks and vineyards close by. Or one can choose to do nothing: just relax on the deck and watch the boats and weather go by and listen to the birds.

    Cute cottage, even cuter views

    - The kitchen was fully equipped with good quality, high end appliances - Fast wifi - Beautiful view from the cottage and an even better view when kayaking - Tennis courts could be cleaned - Two of the kayaks had a hole in them which we found out in the middle of the lake when the kayaks started filling up with water! - Having a BBQ on the deck would be a nice addition - The second bedroom could have heating Overall a pleasant stay, great for families with teenagers, would definitely recommend

    Slice of heaven!

    Couldn’t be happier 😁 - A weekend to escape the hustle and bustle of Auckland. - Owners of the property were accommodation, friendly and easy to deal with. - The cottage is private, clean and homely. - Things to visit: If you’re coming from Auckland the Puhoi pub is a great pit stop, Matakana markets or Brick Bay Wines & Sculpture Trail. The property is surrounded by nature with direct access to the water which allowed us to take advantage of the kayaks that were included with the property, catching fish like I had never experienced before or enjoying the peace and quiet on the water. For those that need their endorphin kick there is a tennis court on your doorstep - a quick game of tennis during the day or a perfect space for circuit/HIIT session. What truly made this spot magical was the picturesque views and the tranquillity of the water. I definitely recommend this hidden gem and will escape here again in the future.
