This hotel was advertised as being recently renovated, it truly was and very nice. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. However, there were 2 issues that were of concern. First, when we first stopped by to check in, there was no one at the front desk and after 5 minutes or so of ringing the bell with no response we chose to come back later. At that point the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful.
The second issue was a much bigger concern. The cloth shower curtain did not keep the water in the tub, and when I exited, the floor was wet and very slippery, causing me to nearly fall despite the towel type bath mat. Even more concerning is that this was a handicap room and I'm sure that had I been a disable individual, I would have had a serious fall.
I had intended to share this with the front desk when we checked out, but once again there was no one at the front desk.
All of that being said, nice hotels with a reasonable price in the Dillard area are hard to find, and so far this has been the best for the money that we've found. We will most likely stay there again on our next visit to the area.
