Knowledgeable friendly staff, clean comfortable room and fun mini golf. Price could have been a little better.

We checked in, dropped our stuff off at our room and immediately went to the pool. When we got back to our room it smelled like something was burning/melting. That smell was not present when we dropped our stuff off two hours earlier. It was almost like a rubber chemical smell. I called down to the front desk, but nobody answered so I walked down to the front desk. The front desk attendant came up with us. He first asked if we had turned on the heat, but he was still off. Then he said it’s more than likely due to the elevator being overused. He said as long as we don’t see smoke everything should be good. He said he could change our room if we just absolutely couldn’t stand the smell, but reassured us it’s just the oil coming from the elevator and is not harmful. The smell really sucked. It didn’t go away the entire rest of the night. We slept with the window open. I was just really disappointed that we had a to smell a burning rubber smell all night.

This hotel was very clean. Safety precautions were being taken seriously so only a bag breakfast was available but it was quite generous with fruit, muffin, yogurt and juice and water. Linens were some of the softest of any hotel I have been to, including some 5 star fancy places! Location is is little bit away from Main Street but in nice weather still walkable.

Room were nice and clean. Very nice rooms for the price.

I do not feel like they were very informative during our check-in. We were not told that there were bag breakfasts (an apple, small water,juice,yogurt) instead of continental. We were not told that there was a trolley that could bring us downtown for a dollar. It’s a tourist town so it just seems they should give you a little information to make your stay enjoyable and easy.

Best vacation weekend ever!! Lots oof fun, easy to get to downtown Deadwood and back on the trolley. Staff was eager to help and super friendly!!

Very nice hotel with lots of amenities. Very clean and neat and friendly employees.

We were exceptionally pleased with this hotel. From the staff, their sanitizing practices, cleanliness, the great pizza (a must try) to the convenience of the putt putt golf on site. Great family friendly place to stay.

The hotel was average - the amenities looked ok - but the pool was out for maintenance - and the hot tub was ridiculously hot (and I like them hot, but this was way over) so neither were used much. The mini golf would have been much better with lighting at night, and even better if it didn't close at 9pm. The breakfast was beyond terrible - but that I will give them since Covid there has been many changes - but signing for a bag that has a water, muffin and an apple in it - overboard. Also, you can request a yogurt or a juice - but they did look at me funny when I asked for both. It was clean, and close enough to the historic district.
