Always choose to stay here when in Topeka. Not a particularly fancy property, but very clean (no smells) and everything is well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Great location off the highway. Rooms were dark and dated. At first glance the place looked clean, however it is apparent that maintenance and deep cleaning never occurs. Furniture stained, marks on walls, carpets are gross. The bed was comfy and the place is dog friendly. Walking distance to many restaurants.

Staff is great! Breakfast is basic but good and enough for me (eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes) Happy hour every night which is good to bring travelers together but local “regulars” as well. Traveled alone but felt safe at night in the area and in the hotel. Stayed for a week and the only downside, TV selections could be better. Oh, bring your own hair dryer too.

This property has a Hooters Bar nearby that makes it an attractive place for construction workers to stay, the parking lot was full of work vehicles and upon arrival the lobby was full of people who had obviously been drinking. From the sounds coming to the room. The lobby was full of drunken people until after midnight.

The welcome happy hour drink & popcorn was a nice touch. The bartender was a great lady. Very impressed with the Hotel. Nice comfy beds, however, our non-smoking 3rd floor smelt strongly like Marijuana. Lots of Friendly staff. Breakfast however, was terrible.

Consider Staying Somewhere Else

Hotel was obviously run down. Charged a $50 “incidental” charge. No hot water first night due to an equipment malfunction but the next day there was still only luke warm water. Air conditioning didn’t work. The managers special was nice. They were cheap on breakfast because someone served you the food instead of having a buffet.

Our first room was very dirty so they switched us to another room which was very nice. The little bar they have was very nice. The Breakfast in the morning was about as what you would expect . Overall, the stay was good other than the disappointing first room.
