The property manager is falsely advertising this hotel. The hotel is very outdated, unclean, and has a bad odor. Upon checking in just from the unkept and lack of cleaning from the lobby, i could tell. We immediately requested a refund and why. The manager who stated the system wouldnr allow and that he just work there, we knew qas the actual owner. Its sad people falsely advertise thier establishment and take advantage of people and thier hard earning. We even offered to pay for 1 night and cancel the 2nd, he wouldnt take care of the customer. He kept saying but its the Kentucky Derby. So we paid for 3 rooms for two nights that we couldnt stay in. My room was supposedly being cleaned. We met the cleaning lady on the way out with just a dirty rag in her hand. No cleaning cart, just a rag. Get in the room and i almost thru up, the tub was awful and toilet still had unflushed particles. Went back to the front dest to advise and was told we couldnt cancel because of it. Im going to dispute this as this is not right and dont sit well in my spirt at all. Please dont stay at this place. Poor hygienic practices.

Needs major updates.
This hotel is in need of repair and updates. The paint on tub/ shower wall as chipping. I would rate the cleanliness of the bathroom a 2. The toilet bowl did not look clean. The floor was dirty. The carpet needs to be replaced. The sheets on the bed look like human body fluids but it was only the deterioration of the sheets. We paid for a night stay but checked out the same day.

You get what you paid for.
If you're looking for just a bed to sleep in, a clean room and hot showers, then it's perfect. That's all I needed, really. It's super convenient to the US31 bridge to Louisville. (The bridge with no tolls). You're better off getting breakfast somewhere else. Pretty much prepackaged stuff for breakfast or snacks. As far as looks, the walls and floors and the kitchen appliances have seen better days. But I personally don't use it. Pretty much for the price and location, it's very decent and I was comfortable nonetheless.

Went there for Kentucky Muscle Show! First room was 202! Found mice poop inside of pull out couch! Mold inside of bathroom shower! Moved us to 302 and wasn’t any better!

Rude, dirty and never staying again
Well. Let’s see. First very rude staff at front desk. Door by bathroom sink broke at the bottom, kitchen bottom cabinet broken henge, ants in kitchen sink, asked twice for stuff a Was given nothing but a roll of paper towels. Had to call again after 8 hours to get to and clean towels, did not get room serviced, water leak stains and cracked ceiling in living room and kitchen. Breakfast on Saturday not any left. Waffle maker broke, no eggs, and the poor lady was being treated badly by office staff while she was trying to help hotel guest. Frozen breakfast sandwiches only on Sunday, no drinks, no coffee, thermostate in room did not work. Office person really rude when we asked for coffee for the in room coffee maker. Oh and by the way the toilet rocked, not just the seat, the whole seat and wobbled when sitting on it. Very bad. Over all staff rude, complained, treated guests bad, no service, no help, room was terrible. Do not stay here. They even blocked off part of the grassy area for their employees to cook and told guest the picnic tables were only for them….room 116

The good, bad and ugly!
The ONLY thing great about the trip was the lady Daniella at check in and the views from the riverside. Danielle (a) was very sweet, hospitable and went out of her way to accommodate our requests. The room was sub-par at most, breakfast was not as expected and we were still billed for a room that was pre-paid before arrival and I was told that I couldn't get a receipt art check out because I prepaid thru a 3rd party which is preposterous.

I feel there could've been more seating in the outside areas. Being a major function held that same weekend. No top covering on our bed. No soap or shampoos in the bathroom. Only one roll of toilet paper. No phone in room.

Terrible hotel
Room wasn't cleaned..full of trash and linnens not changed. Got another room...was just ok on being clean. Told there was a hot breakfast buffet but was only cereal and microwave sandwiches....both looked disgusting. Will never stay there again.

Not even trying to do a good job.
The most disappointing thing was that the kitchen was barely stocked. It had very little of what you expect when you pay extra for having a kitchen. One set of flatware, one glass, one mug, no dish soap or sponge. Repair work was schlocky, poor choice of flooring made it look damaged when it wasn’t. Spacious but not comfortable.

The owners sold the business and the building will be torn down. Open six more weeks. Until then, very tough for customers. Rooms were stripped. No irons, facial tissue, shampoo, ect. Did not clean the room, no new towels. You had to go to the office and complain to get fresh towels. I have stayed here. For years and loved the place. So disappointed how things are now.

Run Away!
This was by far one of the worst hotels I've stayed at in a long time. From maintenance to housekeeping, the place needs a lot of work. It was dirty, there were tons of integral repairs that should have been taken care of, it smelled and definitely has not always been a non- smoking building. I would never stay there again. Also, as someone who works in the hotel industry, why have a suite with a little kitchenette and no dishes, pots, pans, etc? Why have a coffeepot but no cups? What a mess this place is!

Perfect straight shot to KFC Yum! Center
The kitchenette was amazing and staff was very friendly. We had trouble sleeping due to some arguing close by and could hear a lot from the hallway and the surrounding rooms. The breakfast also wasn’t set up when we went down even though the sign said it was supposed to be open. Overall enjoyed our stay

This hotel is absolutely disgusting and completely not cared for. In our building, the one door didn't work, the other one had a boarded up window. Our room was filthy. Mold growing under the soap holder in the shower, floors filthy, stains on the bedding and lampshades, no doors on the closet, holes all over in the walls, light in the kitchen was broken. We had no TV remote, no cups to drink water, the refrigerator rumbled like an airplane taking off so we had to unplug it just to be able to sleep. Lights were burned out, there was trash in the kitchenette cabinets. I had to wipe down all the hard surfaces to feel like I had a clean place to lay my suitcase and the wipes were brown after I got done. The whole place REEKED of weed smoke. There was a gigantic bag of trash in the hallway our entire stay... Absolutely do not recommend this hotel. It is completely filthy, disgusting and unsafe.

Our daughter laid out the the sofa bed and it was covered in mouse turds. Just absolutely nasty. Silverware was covered in mold. They were no toilet paper at all in our room. I immediately had to go downstairs to get some. When we saw how nasty and infested the couch bed was, the girls couldn’t sleep. They told us they were booked out but that GM names Tabatha would be in touch with us for discounts. She has not reached back out. I believe in giving company a chance to fix something before leaving a bad review because times are hard right now. But if you aren’t going to try to fix it, it’s time to leave reviews.

Some of the things that we Experienced may or may not have been controllable by the hotel, yet made the stay less than pleasing. When we arrived just before 4:30 our room was not ready and were told 30 min. We gave them about 40 and the room was ready when we went in. So big props to the staff for that. Just beside the entry door, a window was busted out, with plywood covering it. How long it was there, who knows. But it can leave an uneasy feeling when walking into a hotel. Our room was clean, and the dishwasher was running when we walked in (not an issue), but the next morning when I woke up to get a drink of water and start coffee before the kids woke up, there were zero cups in the room. There was one (still dirty) coffee mug in the dishwasher-in the entire room (we were in a room with two double beds). No plastic cups anywhere. No dish soap, no wash cloths to clean the mug myself. There was construction going on in the city, and I’m not sure why this lot was the chosen ONE lot to store equipment, but there was a good 1/3 of the parking lot (which is clearly not a shared lot) that was unusable as it had all kinds of construction equipment parked. We returned from a concert at 1am and had to park in an adjacent lot and walk either quite a way around, or through snow and wet grass to get back to our room at 1am. Aside from these inconveniences that just kept stacking up, our room was right beside the elevator, and it was still a very quiet stay.

I had a mouse
First impressions were of an average hotel for the price. On my only morning at the hotel, I brought a plate of food back to the room and very nearly stepped on a mouse in the middle of the room. I watched as it ran under the couch. After packing up my clothes to check out, I saw a second mouse run out from one room, cross the hallway, and then go under the door of another room. I asked to speak with a manager about a refund due to the mice and was given an email. Before leaving this review, I emailed the hotel manager twice with no reply. The refrigerator and freezer in the room were not cold.
