You always know what to expect with a Scandic and Scandic Continental didn't dissappoint. The bed was comfortable, and even though we had a room without windows everything was well planned in the room. Our room was on the 11th floor which gave us easy access to the rooftop seating. Although it was a bit cold for early May, the view of Stockholm City Hall in the sunset was amazing! Great location for getting around central Stockholm and the breakfast is typical Scandic breakfast with a good variety, though it was very crowded due to a holiday weekend.

The hotel advertises 3 categories of rooms (standard, supreme and suite). Of these 3 advertised rooms only the standard has 'city view only in some rooms' and the rest quarantee a city view. We booked supreme plus and got a room right on top of the club with a window facing inside the hotel. The music was disturbing even in the afternoon with moderate volume and we had a small child with us. Front desk explained that there were in fact 5 categories and supreme plus does not have the view. However they were kind enough to move us to a room with a view but did not mention that it was a little smaller room without the bath tub. Also would not recommend booking any room from this hotel if the weather is hot. The hotel does not have AC!! Only ventilation and small desk fans. With 28 degrees celcius we slept very poorly in the small hot room. Nice looking hotel with very good location but very bad experience. Staff was very friendly and nice!

The hotel is very clean and in a very nice condition, and the location is amazing. The breakfast was really good. However we are quite disappointed with the room we had, which was very small and nothing like the images at either hotels.com or the hotel's own website (we had booked a standard queen room). It also did not have a kettle despite being listed in the amenities and when we asked for one we got different replies from the front desk (first we couldn't have one because of fire safety, and the next day we could). My parents had booked the same type of room in this hotel and were staying here at the same time as us, and they had a much more spacious room. Clearly the range in what kind of room you might get is too large while still paying the same price for it. Considering the 3000 sek/night price tag we paid, I would not have booked this hotel if I had known this, and I would hesitate to say I would pick the same hotel again.

Stockholm er en fantastisk by å besøke, og beliggenheten til hotellet var helt topp – svært sentralt og lett tilgjengelig. Hotellet fremsto også som rent og pent. Likevel ble vi litt skuffet over noen forhold. Overmadrassene på sengene skled stadig. Vi hadde også en ekstraseng til vår 8 år gamle sønn, og den var dessverre svært ukomfortabel. Et annet minus var at rommet ikke hadde kjøleskap eller minibar, noe vi hadde forventet. Alt i alt et greit opphold, men vi hadde håpet på litt mer komfort.
