Overall conditions for this motel is a bit disappointed. There is no Wifi in our room. Two lamps in bedroom are not working. The bathroom is not clean. My bed cover is dirty. The only good thing is the location. This motel is located just opposite to a shopping centre.

Booked our room through Hotels.com and almost immediately received an email from the motel advising that the restaurant was closed until further notice. OK, no problems there’s a nice pub down the street. Arrived at the motel at 1705 on Sunday only to find that reception was closed. Tracked down the phone number and rang 4 times only to get music. Contacted Hotels.com who were able to raise the owners who then rang us. Their excuse was they didn’t have our phone number and as such couldn’t advise the after hours arrangement to access the room. Interesting excuse given that the motel had already contacted us to advise that the restaurant was closed. One might be excused for thinking that if reception had limited hours then a note in the email would have been helpful along with a code for the security box. Anyway we now had to find our room. The map provided was not clear and indicated a room towards the back of the property. Sure, there was a house there but it was dark and all the lights were off so we didn’t think there were rooms there. Tried to ring the motel again to get instructions but all we got was music. Then lo and behold, someone turned the lights on at the house. Saw a young lass who was about to open a staff door in the main building and she indicated where our room was. Yes it was in the house at the rear of the property that had been dark. Accommodation was OK and we read the instructions in the envelope and to our dismay, the Wifi was out. Under repair!

The Quality Inn was very well situated. It was within walking distance to shops, cafe's and to Market Square. The only complaint we had was a problem with the hot water in the shower. We had to run the water for 10 to 15 minutes and even then it was only just warm. (such a waste of water). Would still recommend this motel.

Very handy stopover on the way from Sydney to Brisbane. Restaurants were across the road and the shopping centre was adjacent. There were lots of people staying as it was school holidays. Our unit was out the back where numbering seemed a little random. All linen was clean and crip. How to improve? There were a few items that needed handyman attention.

Booked an accessible room for 3 adults and 1 child. Arrived to find 1 queen bed and 1 single sofa bed. Not enough pillows or bedding for 4 people. Child slept on floor. Accessible bathroom ok but rest of room way too small.for wheelchair. $200 for the night a disgrace when no room or not enough beds for booking.

Expensive $270. aging property. Air con noisey and hardly worked. Floors uneven. The cottage was decrepit. We felt unsafe for my young children. Was disappointing experience. 1 toilet to sleep 5 .

The room we were allocated to (20) needs quite an upgrade as it is very dated. The lounge had rip marks on the arms. It looked like it had been there since the 90’s and to be honest, looked grotty. We are not snobs but we were not game to sit on it. The queen bed was uncomfortable. There was no free wifi password in the room, nor was pay TV / YouTube available, which you generally expect in motels these days. The only plus side is that it is close to amenities and food. Disappointing for the $225 we paid for an overnight stay.

For $270 a night, you too can be granted a part share of a memorable cottage at the back of the hotel. Entering the room into the kitchen with adjacent toilet, the interior glass window on the toilet is the perfect way to see your friends in the kitchen, which will be important as the tap in the bathroom doesnt work. Moving to the shared bedroom and unique leaning flooring allows you to glide effortlessly from one side of the building to the other or to help get out of bed (unfortunately this only works in one direction). Finally the main bed offers specialised concave bonding sessions, forcing you and your loved one into all night contact. Like jumping from a plane without a parachute - you wouldn't do it twice.
