OLD HOTEL WITH FAULTY PLUMBING
Toilet in room had an intermittent water filling every minute or 2. Asked at front desk to fix it, as there was no reason for this to happen from my look at toilet. Hotel owner told me to hold the handle slightly depressed and it would stop! Hold the handle all night long? So that toilet ran like that for three days. The place definately needs an upgrade of some sorts for the price that we paid. Breakfast was set up pretty nice but garbage was full and didn't see one person wipe a table down while I was in there. Room had visible water stains coming through the ceiling.

Hotel was convenient for our family visit to Idlewild, and we enjoyed a stop by Fort Ligonier as well. There was a car show the evening we were in town, and it seemed like lots of shops and restaurants were are very walkable. (It wouldn’t be realistic to walk to Idlewild.) Staff was friendly, but breakfast area was a bit small for the number of guests. Breakfast was hot and fresh, though.

I thought the hotel was rather pricey, for how dated everything was. We had a King room and it was spacious and clean. The only downfall was that there wasn't a bar/lounge, which according to the internet there was. Also, there was a very rude gentleman that kicked everyone out of the pool area at 9:30 pm. We understand that there were some people making noise and you must ask everyone to leave, but there are better ways to go about it. It was close to many restaurants and stores in Ligonier.

There was no restaurant, there were extension cords everywhere to plug in the fans because the AC didn’t reach the bedroom also in the bathroom the toilet paper holder came right out of the wall. I paid $231 for a suite and got a dump this had to be the worst hotel that I’ll never stay in again!!!! My family and I were very disappointed!!!!!!

The area around the hotel is cute and walkable. Looks like they need to spend some money on the hotel. Curtains were torn and paint missing in places. Sheets had hair on them when we got into the bed. Good place for the money but some maintenance is needed. Close to Latrobe and shopping and dining.
