Th Lodge was a fine place to stay. However, for what you get, it is very overpriced. I have stayed at a number of resorts in Breckenridge, and for about 2/3 the price you pay at the Lodge, you can get a larger room, more modern amenities, a full kitchen with separate bedroom and be closer to the slopes. The Lodge has a good view, but that is about it. One final note, you may struggle to get to the Lodge depending on your vehicle and road conditions. I saw a couple cars get stuck on the steep road up.

Great place, cozy room, nice staff, and good food. I wish restaurant/room service was not so limited.

Note there were COVID limitations that impacted a true hotel experience. First, this is all about the view. You’re on the edge of a mountain looking out at the ski slopes. We were blessed with a ton of snow which makes everything look good outside. Hotel is small with about 40+ rooms and dog friendly. The lobby and main building is small but nice. It’s a lodge feel with big fireplace and all. Logs are everywhere. Did I say great views. Our wing was a motel feel where you access the room directly from outside; ok if you’re not by the drafty door. Not all rooms are like this so make sure you know what you’re getting; king size bed can = fireplace no balcony while two queens can = balcony and no fireplace, etc.. the staff was awesome and went out of their way to answer questions and ensure you have what you need. Call the desk for water or say remote doesn’t work, and she’s there in 30 seconds! The restaurant is very good with a limited menu. It’s a $$$ place so be ready to spend a bit. Tables are 10ft apart, so make reservations ASAP. We reserved the hot tub several nights which was nice. Only issue was this place would be a 10 if they put some $ into updates. You can see the lodge’s age without looking too hard. Water was hot after a call and my neighbors smoked “legal” weed for 5 days without leaving. I say this because the balcony windows and door were clearly drafty. Walls are thin. Overall, if you want a mid-priced, pet friendly location with fantastic views, here you go!

This place has an amazing view. The room had enough space with a balcony over looking Breckenridge. The staff was very friendly. The location is approximately 5-10 minutes from town (driving). There’s was a restaurant within the location and plenty of parking.
