Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown South Loop - Chicago

The Hilton Garden Inn (South Loop) was an excellent location; close to restaurants, museums, and the L train. It was clean and a nice size room. The only downside was the pool. The day we arrived, the pool was packed. The next day, it was shut down due to maintenance (not mentioned upon arrival or booking). Our last day, the pool was open, but as cold as ice. My daughter understood the necessary maintenance, but was disappointed and is looking forward to her next stay with more pool time.

The room was gorgeous. All of the staff we encountered were very helpful and nice. Pool and spa area was clean. Overall great hotel!

I want to say that the sheets are absolutely exquisite the almost feels like silk. I’d like to have a set. Really everything was just great. Even the coffee. We did have to hunt down a couple of more servings. As there was only two Servings in the room. There was a bit of noise on our floor, the 29th floor by the way I want to say that we are quite pleased with the fact that we are able to See the lake from the window. We were not expecting that so that was a really sweet bonus. We were also I guess confused when we signed up because we thought we are getting breakfast with the room. It turned out that that’s a separate order. It turned out great though because we had some stuff to do before we were able to check out. The service was really wonderful every person there was very gracious and helpful at the front desk and the people who helped us with our store in the luggage and then getting out. Hope we tipped them enough! OK one thing that others may like to know ahead of time is that although parking is $60 for whatever time I guess that you’re in the hotel. A block away was $26 for 24 hours. Which was good. we had to find this. So if the front desk have this information that would be helpful. We know that it’s contra indicated since it would bite into their revenue. However Goodwill means everything right. we parked outside for three $ hr, 4 hrs, Then paid 26, plus $9 because we were 15 minutes late. The pool was full of very active children, with engaged parents

Amazing! First couple trip and we went to the bears vs chiefs game. Everyone was awesome, staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was easy to find, and I would definitely stay here again.
