Valentine’s Day weekend
It was very good, my and my fiancé had a wonderful time the room was awesome. The only thing I would criticize was the computers were down it took a long time to check in and the I still haven’t got my deposit back it’s been 1 week plus no free parking or breakfast

Very Meh
Overall expereince was about a 7. Some front desk service was great, some was very very poor. There was very little clarity or effort around providing the free breakfast that my booking included. The morning front desk staff sent us away without answering questions to go over to the coffee shop, they sent us back to the front desk, then sent back to the coffee shop and was never clear if the food we would get would actually be free or added to our bill. It was very clunky and over complicated for something that really shouldn't have been. Free bottled water not even provided, just tap water and tiny flimsy paper cups in the room. Wasn't horrible, but wasn't impressive overall.

Close to Dr appointment. Bad weather forced me to come to the city a day early.

A little Covid getaway
We chose this hotel due to its Covid cleaning regime and we felt very comfortable. There was a sign in method for pool access, and special room cleaning and disinfectant wipes available in room. Checkin staff member was fantastic, there was a lot of information that she had to relay to us and she was patient with questions. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Fair
Prior to booking, I called the property twice to ensure that food services were available Christmas and Boxing Day. I was assured that the restaurant would be open on Christmas Day from 4pm to 10 pm and that all food outlets were open regular times on Boxing Day. Upon arrival we told that the restaurant had been closed since June due to water damage and there was a selection of cold items put together by the restaurant to chose from. I had to take a pass on the selection of Lean Cuisine frozen dinners. In the morning, luckily I was able to get the last 2 items from the “coffee shop” before they shutdown for the day at 10 am. I was not impressed with the platant lies about the food services. I know that these difficult times limit services, but do not pull the wool over my eyes in order to get a booking. Extremely bad behaviour for a top level “flag” location , especially at a time when every sale counts. Shame on you.

Good
The staff was great. The hotel was clean but is in serious need of an update, especially the beds. I'm sure our bed was as old at the hotel.

Very good
Pleasant stay.
The front desk lady was pleasant and friendly. The room was a tad outdated but still comfortable and clean. The jet tub was quite roomy. The only complaint i have is that they "validate" your parking, but you still pay for parking. So that was an extra $15 for one night, charged onto my credit card after our stay.

Parts of the room were in ‘old’ condition, but it was very clean.

One night stay
Check in was very smooth and easy. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would have been nice to have the restaurant open. And the parking was a bit expensive.
