This is a lovely hotel in Stavanger. Conveniently located but if you want to see Stavanger and the area surrounding you need a car. The hotel rooms do not have safes and the locks on the doors to the rooms are very finicky. Breakfast excellent with many choices.

Great location. Loved our stay but will book a bigger room next time. Also hope to have a room with a view. The room had no view, only of walls and windows. Great breakfast and nothing was too much trouble, food replenished instantly when running low. The staff are all very professional and courteous. The only downside for me was the lack of vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. Will definitely book again.

The Hotel Victoria is a great option for being in the absolute center of Stavanger, on the harbor and just minutes from the restaurants, shops and bars of the old town. The downside is it can be noisy and a bit dirty as most of the bars have outdoor seating and the noise and drinking goes late into the evening. The hotel is upscale and offered one of the best breakfast buffets we experience in our 3-week trip in Norway. Lots of options and we always made up a lunch bag each day. Great rooms and upscale bathroom amenities. Definitely a place we would stay at again or recommend to friends.

It’s a very nice hotel with history. The lobby and breakfast area are beautiful. Breakfast has variety of food, and everything was delicious. The best hotel breakfast I have had. The room was nice and clean, but I regretted that I didn’t choose a room with a view. Only we could see was other buildings from our room. It’s located by the colorful street. I just walked around in the morning. It was nice. It looked like there are some nice cafes, restaurants and shops. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to check that out. I’d stay again if we come back to Stavanger.

Overall a fine stay, an old hotel, where it looks old in the detail. Aircondition wasn’t working very well. The breakfast was really not great, unfortunatley.

Such a nice hotel! Two minor feedbacks. One is about the bathroom, the shower area is not fully closed so it is easy to make the bathroom messy when taking a shower. The second is about the breakfast. The breakfast is great but the bread doesn’t tasty. The bread is cold and hard.

Poor cost x benefit
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is fancy. But for the price (much higher than the hotels close by) I expected more. The shower is not well done, all the bathroom gets wet. The breakfast is simple. On this same trip I stayed in another hotel at Stavanger downtown paying 30 % less with a wonderfull breakfast and the same level of room confort. I do not see a real differential that justifies the high prices at Hotel Victoria.

Quite unremarkable
Property is probably the best option there is but I try not to consider a leveraged situation. The front desk lady on check in was quite pleasant, which was the one staff member with this attitude. The breakfast team didn’t speak or acknowledge us once. The second morning we ate breakfast elsewhere even though it was included in the rate . No wash clothes are available for the bathroom. This isn’t acceptable for a hotel accommodating an international guest pool. It’s also really not hard to supply them. There was no bar or restaurant available on Sunday .

Et svært sentralt og flott beliggende hotel nær sjøen. Svært hyggelige ansatte i resepsjonen. Innsjekk og utsjekk gikk sømløst. Frokosten var grei. Eneste minus var litt for varmt på rommet, selv om jeg prøvde å skru ned termostaten, i tillegg til at ventilasjonen gav fra seg en litt for høy «summing».
