Quiet with a gorgeous view
Wonderful location in a wooded area, by a little lake. Several easy hikes in the area (you can ask for a map at the reception desk) All over a very pleasant stay. Room was huge and simple, which we liked. Unfortunately the jetted bathtub was not working and our two single beds came apart, which left the beds in an unstable condition. We did try to fix it ourselves, but with no great luck. We let the staff know. They were very attentive and I am sure, they will have someone repair it for the next visitors, so not to worry. We dined in one night, and it was a wonderful experience with a lovely setting in the old manor house. Delicious meal and good selection of wine.

Kender i det, at man opdager et sted som bare sætter kryds i alle kasser? Romantisk slot, Ja Smukke omgivelser, Ja Fantastisk personale, Ja Rene og indbydende værelser, Ja Vi kommer bestemt tilbage, for at se mere af slottet. Skjoldnæsholm ligger så utroligt smukt,parken er som en tidslomme helt tilbage fra 1700 tallet. At man har adgang til alle godsets stuer , gør at man får et fantastisk indtryk af rigtig gamle dage.

Det virker lidt træt.....
Det hele virker lidt træt...Jeg blev modtaget af en venlig dame i receptionen, men de havde travlt den dag, så jeg følte mig lidt i vejen pga andre gæster og beskeder til personalet om det ene og det andet. Lokalerne i området omkring receptionen er virkelig flotte, så jeg håbede på en god oplevelse. MEN - mit værelse var "træt" (nr. 11) - det trænger i høj grad til nyt gulv tæppe, ny maling, nye stole, nyt badeværelse og en ny seng... Jeg synes det var ALT for dyrt 1100 kr (for en nat) for det jeg fik. Morgenmaden var ok - problemet var der ikke var så meget tilbage da jeg kom 45 minutter efter de havde åbnet for morgenmad - og mens jeg var der løb de tør for kaffe, smør, ost. Jeg fik faktisk ondt af den dame der skulle styre morgenmanden - for hun skulle også styre receptionen - og folk tjekker jo ud samtidig med morgenmaden bliver serveret. Det var ikke en god oplevelse.
