Hua Hin Railway Station
See the original railway stop in the city centre
- Couples
- History
- Photo
Hua Hin Railway Station was built in 1911 and is a short walk from the city centre, offering unique photo opportunities that seem to seamlessly blend East and West. This colourful building in shades of cream, yellow and red has a distinctly Thai architectural style that still somehow looks like it would be right at home on a Victorian-era postcard. The station stands as a romantic reminder of days gone by when Hua Hin was just starting to become a royal seaside getaway town for nobility.
In the early days, a train was the only way to get here, and this building would be the first thing travellers saw. Today, it's a charming, photogenic spot in the heart of town.
