The Senses Centro Hotel is two blocks away from the main square (plaza) and all the good things that come with it.
The hotel itself has seen better years and the workers try their best at keeping the hotel up to date. The rooms are spacious and in my case I had more of an efficiency room with a sink, microwave and mini fridge. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub. We had plenty of hot water and the air conditioner worked well. (It was unusually cold for Santa Cruz while we were there)
The breakfast was good, with a good buffet and an omelette station.
Now, the bad stuff. Room service took forever. Sometimes past 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Check- in was a disaster. I stood in line about 35 minutes and there were only about 5 people ahead of me. Last, but not least...ROACHES! There were roaches in our room and worse yet at the breakfast buffet. I think that a good pest control application could effectively deal with the problem. In all fairness to the hotel, the roach problem seems to be a Santa Cruz de la Sierra problem. We encountered the same issue at two popular restaurants in the city.
