Wouldn’t come back
This hotel was cold, the street outside was loud, there were very few amenities, there was no lift so we walked 5 stories to our room. The bathroom had a shower only and the shower leaked water onto the floor. The sink was cracked. This was a poor stay and would not recommend. It was more like a hostel with a private bath.

Staff were amazing
My mother and grandmother stayed here for the weekend and both said all staff were so amazing, helpful, and friendly with them. My granny is 90 and they couldn’t do more for her. We will 100% be using Albany House again and recommending to anyone who asks about staying in Dublin City centre.

Lovely old building, in a wonderful location. Rooms in back of hotel very small, and most appropriate for a single, but quiet. Front rooms are airy and have wonderful access to daylight. The 3-4 nightclubs across the street make for a noisy, rousing evening (especially if sports events are in play) so bring your noise canceling earphones! Very nice and helpful staff.

The Albany House was easily accessible to all the areas for sight seeing. The only drawback is that there are a few clubs nearby and it can be noisy in the wee hours if you're a light sleeper.

This was our final stop on our Ireland vacation. The room was fantastic! I love the old historical building, the location and the staff were great! The only thing that was not so good was across the street there was a club. People were outside smoking what smelled like something other than marijuana. The music was loud and woke us up during the night. Thank goodness we were on the 2nd floor. There are not any elevators which gave us a good workout lugging our bags up the stairs but it wasn't terrible. Breakfast is a continental breakfast not a full breakfast. Dublin is a very walkable city so this location was perfect for the points of interest we were visiting. I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Great older property. No lifts so we had to carry luggage up to third floor. Ask for rooms on back of hotel-nightclubs are across the street with many people and club music bumping until 3am.
