Nice hotel Madison Downtown
Staff very friendly, hotel very clean. King suite room was good sized and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! Free breakfast had a really nice selection of food. Close enough to walk to the capital, State Street and the Kohl Center.

Check in very friendly but morning instructions/parking were confusing.
Room very nice except for very cold tile floors: I had to put towels down to act as rugs.

Great Downtown stay
Great place to stay. Was not aware there would be an additional $20 parking fee. That was disappointing.

Great hotel
East checkin and checkout. Great free breakfast with lots of choices. Easy in and out parking ramp. Great location. We had a personal pepperoni pizza and chicken Caesar salad Saturday evening for dinner Saturday. Meant we didn’t have to drive or walk anywhere. It was cold and dark outside and we were tired from spending a day with grandson, a student at UW.

4/10 Fair
2 November 2024
The pros: The hotel is well situated and the room was clean. The people staffing the front desk were helpful and friendly. The con: I paid A LOT of money for a room ($671/night) in which it was literally impossible to walk into the bathroom and close the door without having to squeeze and put yourself in a corner. And I say this as a petite 5'3" person. My slim 5'9" son had even more difficulty. I have no idea how someone else larger navigates this situation. I spoke to the front desk about it but because it was a game weekend they were understandably booked. I did write to the manager afterwards to let her know how absurd the room bathroom situation was. She informed me that it was actually an upgrade over the room I booked, so I can't imagine what the other room was like! There was no offer of any compensation or even points to my account, which I found surprising given my years of working in the hospitality industry. Just wanted to advise others who might want to stay here to be aware.
