Parking and TVs get a Thumbs DOWN
The parking was not good- we had 2 vehicles, but there were no designated parking spots- the neighbors parked right in the middle so as to block the parking for the rest of their party. At one point we had to double park our 2 vehicles and stick out into the road,& we had someone in a wheelchair. If made it very difficult. I left 2 messages at the after hours voicemail because only one of the several TVs in the cottage had a remote and worked, so we were unable to watch tv in any room except one bedroom- nobody ever contacted me back or came to fix the issue

This place was gorgeous! Guests had their own little house instead of one big hotel. Water park was nice for the kids, big pool they enjoyed as well. Food and ice cream drinks etc close to pool so you don’t got to go far for that. Very clean place, staff was friendly and easy to reach when I needed assistance. I will be back

Buyer beware: Didn't know this was a timeshare location. The first day of our vacation was spent in a 4 hour presentation (hard sale). The location is clean and the people were friendly. We just prefer to spend our vacation time on vacation.

Good for the money but needs upkeep.
Second time here. I really want to love this place. It was good for the money. I was hoping it would be better than our last stay in cleanliness. The upkeep is not good and always feels dirty. We will probably not be back. The floors in the cottage always feel like you need shoes as they are never clean when we go in as you feel the crud on your feet immediately. Beds/pillows were comfortable. The walls look dirty, the house outside needs cleaned. We didn’t use the kitchen so I can’t speak to that. The pool is quite gross. Constantly stuff floating around in it and you can’t see the bottom it’s so chlorinated. The kids love the slide and the kids side which seemed cleaner. The workout facility is small but it was never busy. The treadmills feel out of date. It’s a great place to feel secure, safe, and walk around. The karaoke at night was great entertainment.

Stormy Point called after 3 pm on Friday when we were supposed to check in at 4 pm. They informed us that the air conditioning was out in our unit, so they moved us to a sister resort 15 minutes away. The other resort did not have the water park that was a main factor in our decision to stay at stormy point. The location of the sister resort was also much more inconvenient. Stormy Point did not offer any compensation or discount of any sort for the inconvenience.

Liked the unit we stayed in a lot. Wasnt happy they sent us to an occupied unit but they fixed that. Didnt like the resort fees because hidden in the expedia Ts and Cs so that was extra $30 a night.. Pools were nice but a bit dirty and big tube slide was down for 1/2 our stay and outdoor pool at lighthouse was closed whole time.

What a let down!
We have been coming to Stormy Point for 10 years and the cleanliness of our cottages was disgraceful. Our feet were black within an hour due to the filthy floors. There was blood on the floor in one of the upper bathrooms!! There were cobwebs, dust and mirrors that appeared to have been cleaned with dirty rags. The bedding was not up to past exceptional standards- not as high of quality of sheets and it’s time for new beds. The overall presentation of the cottage has lost that wow factor. The grounds contain too much litter, dead trees and limbs, and we were taken off guard by the number of skunks running so close to the cottages. The pools are in need to regular maintenance. All of the staff were quite friendly and helpful. We did have to go get new keys on 3 occasions, which was very frustrating.

It was an average cottage stay. The hideabed was broken and uncomfortable. The shower doors were so short a man 6" had a hard time getting in. The toilets are so low to the ground and older person had a hard time.
