Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the lobby smells amazing. Room clean, modern and comfortable. TV allows screen sharing so you can watch Netflix/ Disney+ ect, room also has AC. Shower is fantastic. Very central location, tram and metro links are simple. Pre warning you will have to pay city tax (we paid €20) and €50 as a pre payment in case you use the mini bar (annoying) we didn’t even use the mini bar but still had to pay. Was told I’ll get it back into my bank in 3-5 days. :)

I was very satisfied with my choice to stay at Hotel Gin Budapest. The hotel was beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, and ideally located in the heart of Budapest! It's perfect for a solo traveller eager to explore the city on foot. A special shout-out to Lilly, Viktor, and Agnes for their prompt assistance with my queries during my stay. Hotel & Staff both get 5 stars! Highly recommended across the board.

We loved this hotel!! We changed a booking to here after reading reviews of the other booked hotel / we certainly were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were excellent size no matter which type (we had a mixture of cosy and comfort). The reception area was beautiful and well kept. We borrowed an umbrella, iron, no issues. Breakfast at hotel Rum is a lovely view and nice food too with 10% off for being hotel guests - but book a table for weekends!
