If you can afford better, you can do better. The room smelled badly of mould and cigarette smoke. It was old and rundown. Location was good, close to the train station and the staff were very nice.

Served a purpose.
Arrived at midnight, left at 0830!
Clean, comfortable bed. Small, tired bathroom. Shower holder broken so would not hold up the shower head.
Bathroom very tired- missing grout and peeling paint.

Accessibility to the train station was the best feature. Not meant for long stays. Spacious rooms and easy walk into town.

Nightmare.
hotel is situated in the rough part of town. Did not feel secure enough to go out after dark. hotel made a mistake and allocated our room to another customer, consequently, at one o’clock in the morning someone is desperately trying to get in our room. My wife is going ballistic thinking that a burglar/ killer is trying to get in our room. i finally got up and opened the door to find a thecnician on his knees trying to open the door, thinking that the door was empty. my wife spent the rest of the night sitting on the edge of the bed, In compensation we were given a free breakfast.

No luck in Perpignan
One one had smoked in my non-smoking room. They had no other for me. I didn't sleep all night because my eyes and throat were burning. Only good comment is that it was very close to the train station and the staff were friendly

Friendly cosy hotel
Travelled to Perpignan to watch Catalan Dragons,we wanted a place close to the train station and this hotel was in a really good place for that.
We got to the hotel and the room was ready, it's a very cosy place.it has a warm feel about it as soon as you walk in. I was pleased with the room we had, there was 3 beds - they were really comfy! The bathroom was clean and did what we wanted.
If I was going to Perpignan again I would go back

A convenient hotel for railway travellers
We have stayed here on two occasions. I must say that our experience has been inconsistent as our rooms differed greatly each time. On one occasion we found the bathroom poorly lit and badly organized, but it was ideal the next. The bed was invariably comfortable, however. Don't bother with the breakfast. The WiFi worked.

Budget hotel next to Perpignan station
Needed a hotel next to Perpignan and this seemed like the best option. Very basic but a good price. One of the smallest bathrooms I have ever been in and only just managed to get in fully. Staff were friendly.

Handy for the train station.
If leaving from/coming into Perpignan train station and you need a hotel, then this is about as close as it gets. It's a modest hotel with decent rooms/bathroom. The train station is literally a minutes walk. It's fine for this purpose if all you need is a decent nights sleep and a shower before, or, after your train journey. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast, which is pretty average. All-in-all, it's fir for purpose.

Past its prime
I booked the Hotel Baladins based on price and it's location next to the train station. As I expected, the hotel has seen better days having been replaced by newer, more modern hotels. My room seemed a bit shabby with stuff marks and the bath layout was a bit odd with the toilet tucked into a corner between the shower and sink so that you had to squeeze to get to it. Not curtain for the shower which wasn't a problem, but a bit unexpected. Like many hotels they seem to have gone from soap bars and shampoo packets to wall mounted dispensers, only nobody seems to take the effort to fill them, both at the sink and in the shower were empty.
The hotel did have free wifi when it was working, it would drop the signal and operated at a slow speed. Noise from other rooms was a major problem.

Right across the street from the train station, so great if your just stopping for the night on the way to somewhere else. Hotel is almost hostel like with a private shower. Neighborhood has little to offer. Like I said, a stop over.

hotel needs more attention to detail
Staff helpful and friendly. Not possibly the best part of town but close to rail station.
Now the bad things:
1. Shower broken, had to hold above head to use
2. No plug for handbasin/sink in my bathroom

average and close to station
It took 2 visits to the front desk to obtain an air conditioner control, as the room was without one. Being hot and having almost no sleep made that small inconvenience seem big at the time. Also a bit confusing is there are 2 exits from the train station now. Directions don't mention that. It's outside the old entrance.
