Dogs...lots of them
Be aware that this hotel houses dogs. (and just like some of the other reviews mentioning a rude receptionist, a rude one snarkily told us we would have to wait to "see if another room becomes available". Well after enduring a 5-minute speech about how booked this hotel is and how difficult it will be to move us we patiently waited through the verbage and eventually got a room on the third floor. On the way up to our room we met with the manager who mentioned that of course if they're booked we may find a dog on the third floor. Well we did get a very quiet room away from any noise and fortunately got a good night's sleep. The heater was broken but fortunately not too cold in the room. So just to let you know read some of the other reviews yes there are people who leave dogs in the room barking and unsupervised. The good thing is we will choose more wisely a hotel with no pets policy.

Spill spots on floor. $20 for breakfast is absolutely ridiculous. Not enough lighting in the room- one lamp didn’t work others were too small to be useful Bed was very comfortable. Spacious room!

This was my second time staying here and I would return again. I love the outdoor seating area with the fire table and the rooms are spacious. Next time I would get a king size bed but the check in and out were easy and I quite enjoyed the spa water in the lobby.

Stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, Melville due to trip cancellation to Disney. My granddaughter looked the property. The pool and hot tub were great! The food at the restaurant was good and the staff were great. Parts of the pool area were a bit dusty.
