best hotel in morro bay!
LOVE this hotel! it's my go-to every time i'm in morro bay! i love the fireplaces in the room, and the massive roman bath jacuzzi in the basement! their breakfast is typical continental, but always well stocked and i like that they offer fresh fruit (whereas most hotels only offer processed foods). there is parking on-site, and if the hotel gets packed then you can easily find parking on the street right in front of the hotel. the only thing i don't like about this hotel is the service - there rarely seems to be anyone at the front desk, and a middle aged man who worked the desk was very rude to me. there are some younger staff who were very pleasant though. overall, i'd still stay at this hotel 100 times over as long as the staff don't give me too much gruff.

Booked for 2 nights. First night, room above us were loud till midnight. Walls and flooring are insulated. Our bed had indentation and my wife and I slept horribly both nights.

The room was nice and the staff was very helpful. I was called ahead of time and notified of a power shutdown on our last night so they were able to help us get another room at a partner hotel. That was also a very good room.
