Overall great stay but some downsides
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room thermostat does not seem to work and the toilet doorknob was broken. Refreshment station was very convenient. The area can be quite loud at night - noises of the late night crowd and there appears to be garbage collection trucks operating in the early hours of the morning, the hotel could consider better soundproofing but the noise is an understandable downside of staying in the Ciutat Vella area. The location is unbeatable though.

A hidden gem
We ❤️❤️❤️❤️ our stay at this hotel. It is in a great location, steps from the metro and in the Gothic quarter. The place is very cook with a Scotland/Cuba/Punk theme throughout. The room was super comfy and the floor includes a little coffee bar. The breakfast is definitely worth the extra cost - a very nice Euro spread . And the staff are super friendly and welcoming. After staying in too many corporate looking hotels, we most definitely prefer the funky charm of Habana Hoose.

Must stay at Habana Hoose in Barcelona!

Good location, but not accessible by cab / Uber necessarily, they tend to drop you off down the block. Location is very close to the metro. great restaurants & shops around. Unfortunately the city in this area smell like urine. Hotel is presentable, the cleaning could be better. My biggest issue was getting only one bottle of water of arrival and that’s it. Each Flirt had little coffee stations which is a cue feature. However no lobby to wait for friends or ride. Restaurant attached makes you feel like you’re loitering and un welcome. Overall, I would stay here again.

The location is superb. Right near Jaume I Metro, on a relatively quiet side street. The punk-rock theme is fun and doesn't get in the way. Front desk staff were helpful with recommendations. Two small problems: no washcloths furnished and the room was too big for the lighting provided.
