The Magnolia
The location of the hotel was great for us. Walking distance to the train that took us directly to the stadium. In the heart of restaurants and bars.
The hotel itself needs The hotel needs some work. It has a slight odor (musky). The elevator lights that let you know that the elevator is there were not working. The toilet in the room was slow to drain. The restroom in the common area (near the 2nd floor restaurant) did NOT flush. This was the handicap stall. None of the staff were aware if the train was working on this game day.
The hotel did not appear to be full in any way. Very few people rummaging around. The room that was given to us was located on the 19th floor. The view was facing a wall. No street view whatsoever.
The staff were nice. We had breakfast and it was satisfactory. Would have liked to have had an omelet station. The bar area was spacious and the staff there were very friendly. For the price, location and the fact that we were only there for one night it's not a bad place to stay.
