We love staying here because it’s halfway between our destination and home. It’s always comfortable. We can bring our dogs or leave our dogs home and love having that option. This day was no different friendly. Check-in room was comfortable and a quiet location.

Run down/ mediocre
Stayed here two nights with husband and daughter. Cons: Was disappointed in cleanliness. There were dead bugs in the tub. Dark drip marks on the bathroom wall, peeling paint and scuff marks in multiple locations. Breakfast was disappointing in temperature and flavor. We did not eat it the 2nd day. Very loud. My impression was there is not much insulation between rooms or floors. What seemed to be normal levels of activity above and out in the hall was annoyingly loud. Hot tub was hot but jets sprayed water everywhere, pool was ice cold. Lower floor getting remodeled, smelled like paint in hallways. Pros: bed was comfortable, full size fridge in a small kitchen with real cups plates and silverware. Location was convenient We stay a lot of nights in hotels.... this was mediocre at best

I usually come to Ashland to visit family and stay in various hotels now and then. This was my first time at this property and I loved it. I wanted to sleep in to the very last second in the comfy bed. The only downside was the swimming pool was cold. I still swam though.

The room itself was fine however the check in employee was not welcoming at all. When I arrived I was met with a sign stating the employee would be back soon. It wasn’t a big deal for me to wait. After about 5 minutes or so the employee appeared. The person indicated to me they would be right with me with a tone of annoyance. During the check in the employee barely looked at me and barked the rules of the property to me. I left feeling like I was a complete inconvenience to this person. The room I was given was adjacent to the lobby and the space provided for the continental breakfast. We could hear people in the lobby during all hours in the night and then we awakened in the morning by the chairs in the breakfast area being scooted across the floor each time anyone sat or got up. It was a terrible experience.
