This hotel was amazing! It was in an ideal location. The staff was super friendly. I just can rave enough about this place! Oh and the Sushi restaurant! We loved this place so much we ended up staying there an extra night! Definitely going back!

There was a cockroach the first night in the room I was scared. The breakfast was so-so. Very cheap bacon, nasty burritos but good waffles!! The front desk workers were cool and nice so I appreciate that.

Solid choice near downtown and South Congress
I was looking for an affordable hotel near downtown Austin that offered free parking, and this hotel met that criteria. My room was spacious, comfortable, and mostly clean. The front desk workers were friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was better than most discount hotel ones -- it offered hot options and plenty of room to sit in the restaurant attached to the hotel. This restaurant is also a good option for lunch or dinner (but is not directly associated with the hotel despite being attached). My few minor complaints: I did have to kill a roach in my shower (but I suspect it came inside from the rain). When I told workers about this, they were very responsive and made a note of it in case others complained. The shower pressure was just okay, and the push/pull to change from bath to shower faucet was a little tough to operate. The hallways were also a bit musty. Aside from those issues, I was very happy with my stay and would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit if the price is right again.

Great remodel, awesome place, Highly recommend!
This place is great! The staff is super friendly, the rooms are comfortable and well-decorated, and there are tons of amenities. And the free breakfast is top-notch! This is obviously some sort of renovated motel, and they did d phenomenal job with the renovation. We got a suite, which was basically 2 motel rooms combined into one, and we loved it. Highly recommend this place. We WILL be staying here again!

Solid choice near SoCo.
Great option for getting an affordable resort feel within long walking distance/ short drive of South Congress. Desk help was great and they had a very complete 'Welcome to Austin and our hotel' type guide. Good free breakfast and parking too.
