Nice Hotel- But Staff Unavailable
My husband and I arrived around 10 p.m., after a work party. There was no staff to check us in- no one at the front desk although all lights were on and it appeared someone had been working at the front desk recently. We called the hotel 5 or 6 times to try to get the attention of ANYONE to come check us in. We sat there while the phone continued to ring and no one answered. Finally we tried calling the corporate company. They weren't able to help since we booked through a third party (hotels.com). It had been about 25-30 minutes, we were tired, and we almost left when finally a staff member showed up to check us in. This was not pleasing after being tired and just needing a place to sleep. The staff member did not offer an apology or reason why he was not available. The hotel itself was nice, and the breakfast was good. The bathroom in the room was not very clean, but other than that, the room was nice. Overall, if the staff can be available, this would be a fine place to stay, although we probably won't stay here again due to our experience.
