Great service, ok experience.
Hotel staff was nice. Room was clean. My only issues were the water never got hot, only luke warm, and they tired to bring in a third party company to attempt to steam clean the rug and the ac unit. I was traveling with animals and didn’t want them in my room with out me. We were in town for a softball tournament and so our schedule was not set in stone. I offered for them to come in at 8:30 in the morning and the cleaner started on the opposite end of the hotel. I told them I’d be back at approximately 2 PM, and then we won that game and ended up staying at the field until 430. It was definitely very stressful worrying about whether or not they were disrupting my dogs by trying to steam clean my carpet and the AC unit. That definitely should not have been attempted that over a weekend and not while guests are actually staying in rooms. I don’t trust this third party company. I barely trust the hotel staff. Nobody should be entering my room when I’m not there. The biggest kicker was fact that they never told us at check-in. This would be happening. I just happen to see a note the next day at the counter when I went to ask a question.

Penalized for using Hotels.com?
This has happened to me before with Hotels.com bookings. Because you get a deep discount, you get second-class-citizen treatment. Like here, no maid service for a two night stay. Bad hospitality service either way
You expect more from a legacy brand, even in off-season. Lesson learned.

The room itself wasn’t bad but the hallways were in need of cleaning/paint. There were just a lot of random people hanging around the outside of the hotel that didn’t appear to be guests.
*The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful*
