It was clean but not sparkling. Could have liked another blanket, Spoke to staff 3 times coming and going. Everyone was friendlhy. I would come back at at discount rate. It was a quiet weekend., No students around.

I was on the 4th floor. Room was excellent, high ceilings, great bed/bedding, bath. Staff were all very friendly, helpful, competent. I would definitely stay again.

Something crawled out of the drain
There were drain flies(?) in the sink and dead on the bed. Asked for a bedding change (housekeeping was gone for the day-at 5:30 p.m.) Asked the front desk to send clean bedding up to the room-no one available so had to go pick up myself. Not even an apology or offer of a different room. The next morning, the bottom of the tub had several black "blobs"-mouse feces, other vermin residue? Who knows? Stuffed a wash cloth to block the drain and left the next day.

Really run down and outdated. Only a few pieces of equipment from the 1990's in the "fitness center" and half were broken. Bathroom sink was rusted and nasty (was even rusted through in a few places). Broken heating unit, broken vending machines, just really lousy all around.

Great little motel close to Amherst. It was just a 5 minute drive. Although it’s a little dated, the place is clean with spacious rooms. We will definitely stay here again. Close to everything.

OK for the price point.
About as expected for the price point… or perhaps a bit better. It was obvious the room had recently been renovated, which included replacing the carpet with hard flooring - which is more sanitary I guess, but which did make the room feel a bit cold. The room had both a microwave and a refrigerator, which was much appreciated, but the Fridge and the TV we’re not plugged in, so it took a while to figure out how to get them plugged in and working. There were no instructions on how to work the TV (though not all that hard to figure out). Beds were super comfortable and well-made up. The water pressure in the shower was pathetic and there was not a handheld, so my shower was less than satisfying.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The BK was adequate, much like I see at many hotels. But the building itself is in much need of a total update. It’s an old hotel and is clearly showing its age. I expected better from a hotel by Windham.
