Mediocre Room
My stay was mediocre. The room was definitely not worth what they charged me, but I understand it was New Year's and demand is high around that time.

Best part of the hotel is the location
We had to call every day to attempt to get housekeeping. Every time I spoke to someone they assured the issue would be fixed and that housekeeping would begin the next day. This never occurred. We kept receiving bags of towels without having old towels or trash removed. At one point we received an entire bag full of hand towels.
The cigarette smoke smell is really strong downstairs in the casino area, which was quite different from other smoking casino/hotels. Perhaps the Horseshoe air purifying tools just aren't as strong.

Just ok
We stayed here for New Year’s Eve due to location to the strip and that is the only good thing about the hotel. It is so out dated and has a funny smell. The room was like a 2 or 3 star motel.

Location, location, location
The location was amazing. Self parking and kiosk to check in were very easy. Beds were comfortable. It definitely could use some touching up and cleaning behind furniture. Would stay again.

Not our greatest experience
It’s not often I’m happy to leave a hotel but I’m sorry to say I felt like that about The Horseshoe. The room was OK in terms of decor but it’s difficult to believe it was newly renovated - which I paid extra for. On the plus side the beds were comfortable and shower very powerful - on the flip side the fridge smelt rank and the was generally just very basic/soulless. The check in was super busy and smell of cigarettes there and in the lobby/casino difficult to stomach. The hotel is well located if you want to be central on the Strip but seemed so much less nice than every other hotel we visited.

Honest Review.
Check in was horrible. Staff was upset working Christmas Day. Staff Yelling at everyone. We waited an hour to check in -Told had to pay early check in. Instead went to casino gambling floor to be yelled at b/c we had bags. No concierge to take bags. No one Even to tell us where rooms were. No one in check in line helped anyone while we were waiting. Bed comfortable. Shower hot water. Hole in sheets. Banged up walls/cabinets in room. Overall felt like downtown Vegas, Fremont street.
1/2 time escalators aren’t working. Lots of dogs, from patrons. Staff more concerned with dogs than guests.
Overall hotel dingy/dark. Table game limits seemed high when pits weren’t full. Confused about a resort fee that doesn’t “include” the resort pool. All the buildings/construction in front of the casino annoying to walk around and dangerous early morning to get back to hotel.
Room was clean. Size of room comfortable.

Overall a good experience. Would stay there again.
Overall, the stay was fine. It was clean and location was good. The bed was comfortable. Amenities was fine. Bathroom clean. The staff overall was fantastic. We had problem with getting our room key to work and had to go back down. However, the friendly person that we spoke to was quick and fixed it for us. We had a room that overlook the Sphere, which we paid extra for. It was definitely what we wanted. We only had 5 pillows total for the two queen beds. Interesting as we had always been used 4 pillows per bed. It was enough for us though so we did not ask for more. The bathroom was clean. Only negative was the room had an adjoining room. Our neighbor was partying till early morning and was fairly loud. If you are a lite sleeper, be aware. They must have checked out after our first night cause it was quiet after that.
