Nice weather and upscale well maintained properties. Lots of traffic with people texting or otherwise using their phone while trying to drive. Be defensive on their roads.

We wanted to see Stanford University, it was very close by. My two young Granddaughters had fun seeing the campus. Lots of areas to run around. They now proudly wear their Stanford sweatshirts.

It was near Stanford Hospital and we went to dinner near aroad that was blocked off for people to walk around the shops safely. Really enjoyed this trip!

Small laid back community in the area that I was staying in near California Avenue. Lots of good restaurants, though one has to walk through not as pleasant (but it is quite safe) spots next to El Camino and crossing Oregon Expressway / Page Mill.

Stanford Hospital is a 13 min drive away and this is a great place to stay at for price while in medical trial! We used DoorDash and there were lots of choices if things to eat in the area.

We were there for a specific medical procedure, so didn't visit, but know Palo Alto well. The area where we stayed has built up quite nicely since last we were there.

Being from a small Northern California town, it was busy with traffic, but that is to be expected. Everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly.
