Kalwad Kalan and Khurd Hotels

"We were offered a room upgrade and were asked to wait sometime. After 40 mins, we were told it'll take another 30 mins at least. This was when we can requested for an early check-in already. They have open reception concept - so we had to wait outdoor in hot and humid weather which wasn't ideal either. Later we were given an upgrade to a room that was outside the fort -- had no staff to assist in that area, and every request took 20 mins. Given we were 3 adults in single room, the room had amenities for just 2 -- we weren't even given any additional bedding, and were asked to use the couch as a result had a terrible back pain. We paid around 10k INR additional for extra guest in room -- but seemed like a complete waste! We went for a birthday celebration and were offered "complementary cake" which we never got - worse, no one even bothered to check if it was delivered. The food and pool were the only great things! Restaurant staff were nice. The hotel management staff and facilities were poor -- nothing compared to even other normal 5 stars, let alone a luxury one."

"Royal villa where we stayed gave us the privacy we needed. Kids really enjoyed the pool! The property layout and decor definitely gave us the cultural experience we wanted to share with our kids. Staff was really warm and welcoming. Gautam and his personal attention to our family needs was much appreciated. He has been always reachable and responds quickly and organized things for us and made sure our stay was comfortable without any issues. "

"My partner and I stayed here for about 6 days. We both loved our stay here. We chose a hotel a bit away from Jaipur in case we wanted to have a relaxing day in between traveling around for sightseeing. I highly commend the service of the staff: -Vijay was our driver for airport transfers and a shopping excursion in the city. He was a safe and knowledgeable driver who even helped us plan an impromptu elephant sanctuary visit -Ajitesh greeted us every morning for breakfast. He always knew my order before I did and always kept an eye on us to make sure we had everything we needed every breakfast -Suraj and Suresh were tasked with housekeeping for us. Very friendly and always asked if there was anything they could get us to make our stay better. They also did an amazing job taking care of our room. -Syatma (I may have spelled his name wrong) he was our bartender at Mayur. Always kept our glasses full and even created a cocktail for me on the spot that was not on the menu -Sahil took care of us when we spent a day at the pool. Making sure we were stocked with beverages while ensuring we had a good time -Abihav (apology if I also get his name wrong) he was at the front desk during night hours. Also very professional and friendly. I lost my key card and he was kind enough to make sure we had a ride back to our room Overall we would stay here again. It may have been the off season but nothing was off about our stay. The property is beautiful and we had a lot of fun!"

"Excellent property and a must visit. It’s a great place for a family and friends get together. The rooms were super. The Aravalli’s backdrop was a show stopper. The only request I could think of is the car Parking. My car was very dirty when handed over. May be that place was next to the AC cooling plant. If the car is dirty, then it should be cleaned and then handed over."
