"We enjoyed staying at this property. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel driveway. The beach was small but perfect for us. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the calm bay and seeing all the fish as they were swimming. There was also an obstacle course anchored in the bay where they were able to swim out and jump off. My kids are picky eaters so there weren't very many options for dining for us. But the restaurants at the resort were very nice. We enjoyed going up to the Swizzle Inn for more than one meal. The hotel was very accommodating for our specific requests. The front desk was very helpful in helping us navigate public transportation. There are some great restaurants in St. George. We did visit the Royal Naval Dockyard, but that bus ride was over an hour. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly."
"The Azura was the perfect place to stay for a quiet vacation. The location was not necessarily walkable to much but getting Transporation to get anywhere was easy with the assistance of the staff. I wish there were more dining options but what was offered was delightful.
My only concern was around an issue with one of the bathrooms in our room. Upon reporting issue, they sent someone to check while we were out and upon returning, we found that the water had been shut off and we could not use for the duration of the trip. While they did offer us some compensation, I would've liked some notification, update, etc. rather than just returning back to resort late at night to find out water was shut off. Just minor inconveniences.
All in all, this was a beautiful resort & the experience was amazing. Will most certainly return. "
Hamilton Princess & Beach Club - a Fairmont Managed Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was aware that we are celebrating our 51st Anniversary this year, so we received a nice gift of a bubbly and a cheese tray! Very nice touch and thoughtful!
Restaurant 1609 serves very good food & we enjoyed excellent burgers for 2 lunches in a row! Although we found that charging us an extra $2.00 for a few slices of tomatoes is really silly!
The bedroom is OK. The bathroom: the light flickers but no one came to fix. The hand-held shower cannot be fixed to the wall stand & fell often. The water flow was a bit weak.
Please DO NOT publish our names, but rather use "elderly couple from Canada".
Thank you."
"Beautiful, well kept property. The ferry shuttle service and the van shuttle service were both excellent and so convenient to have just steps away from our suite. Easy walk to the grocery store using the railway trail. Absolutely stunning pool!!! We will be back again in the near future! "
"THE OWNER AND STAFF PAID ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL OF OUR STAY. THEY ORGANIZED TRANSPORTAION AND MADE SURE OUR STAY WAS EXCELLENT. THE FACILTY BEACH BAR WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. THE FOOD WAS TOP NOTCH."
