It's a modern city but with plenty of history scattered throughout. Old town is stunning and only a 5 minute drive from the centre. Everything is walking distance. The locals are extremely welcoming and helpful. I travelled solo and I felt very safe.

Gorgeous city, old town with Palace and square with flower decorated cafes. Museums are top class. Metro excellent and people helpful. City is very clean and so many parks and greenery. Only 3 days, I wish we had longer. Train to Krakow easy to book

First time in Warsaw and it was great! Would love to come back in warmer weather. Lots of history and tons of great restaurants. I did 3 walking tours which I would recommend as I learned so much more than if I would have walked around solo.

Wonderful city! From Old Town to the new shopping areas and restaurants this is a very walkable city. The people were friendly and prices were pretty good. Many (if not most) younger people speak English. Always somewhere to grab a coffee!

Warsaw offers some of the greatest food and drink experiences. Copernicus museum is cool for adults as well as children, and the walk by the river to get to the National Stadium is super relaxing.

We found public transport accessible and affordable (free for me over 70). Most people speak a bit of English if not totally fluent. The food was exceptional.

Warsaw exceeded my expectations. The old town is the place to really experience Poland's beautiful, yet troubled, history.

Love the transport system great public transport, clean cycle and footpaths and well maintained green spaces.
"Everything was great. Check in, check out, adding car in middle of trip, dining, restaurant, food, drinks, all were fantastic. No issues. 1st day we walk to a bunch of close by museums. A mall is in waking distance. Lots of restaurants near by. Once feet got tired, lime scooters help out. Uber is cheap and got us to further places. Hotel location is perfect to tour the city. "
"Fantastic location with stunning views from the room. Unfortunately they had some works taking place in the building which meant I was disrupted by drilling noises. "
