Short stay in the capital.
Ideal place for a short stopover in the city, close to Aldgate East tube station a not far from Brick Lane and Spittle Fields Market. Clean, basic room with cooking facilities and fridge.

Perfect for a cheap night in London
Comfortable with enough space and great views over London. If you don't mind having no TV and understand that this is student accomodation then absolutely no problem whatsoever. Yoh get coffee making facilities and a kitchenette. The beds are small Doubles. There are not shared facilities, so you have your own bathroom, kitchen, etc No shower gels etc provided but for £120 cheaper than my local Travelodge and premier Inn, I'll take it !

Was unaware it was a student accommodation property. That said, it was not noisy and although room had only the basics it was fine for the price and quite well positioned for access to town. The bathroom was a little dirty with hair on several surfaces. Only minor but needs to improve if selling rooms to tourists/non students.

Not a hotel - student accomodation
Didn’t realise it was student accommodation until the day I checked in. However was everything it needed to be, very basic but cheaper than most budget hotels and served its purpose. Toiletries not provided so make sure to bring your own, including soap.

City Break
Very clean and presentable and the staff were helpful and friendly. However, we were not able to turn a fan off that went on all night and there was also a lot of noise outside of the room, so our sleep was somewhat disturbed.

Small studio good for a short stay.
The studio was nice with cool view over the city. We had no problems with the noice and the manager lady at the reception was super nice! However, it could be cleaner. They should invest in better cleaning!

A nice place, but no air con.
This trip was good, but there was definite room for improvement. The rooms are not a hotel room but student accommodation. For those unfamiliar with this it’s like a micro apartment the size of the standard front room with bed, kitchenette and shower room. For a trip of a day or two for business it’s all you need on a budget. The staff are friendly and amenities good, especially the 18th floor lounge and outdoor terrace. The cleaning schedule was weird, of my 5 night stay the schedule was a towel refresh and bin empty during the 4th day. Kind of pointless, would have been better to schedule this in the middle of the stay rather than near the end. As it was I checked out a night early. Finally, air con. There is none. Your air conditioning options are to open a window a tiny bit and a fan provided by the accommodation. During the summer this isn’t adequate and as the hotel is very well insulated (I suppose to save on heating in the winter) it really means you can have a terrible nights sleep especially during extended periods of hot weather like I experienced during my stay. In review, a good place to crash on a budget especially if you want to sort your own food out during your stay. Better than a hostel private room. 18th floor lounge is a great free included amenity. If they sorted out the air con situation I’d be back in summer , till then I would only return in cooler months.

Cheap London weekend stay
Economical weekend stay for concerts, close to public transport, late check-in can be arranged. Room is small and clean which was fine as we only used it for sleeping.

Great basic accommodation for business in Aldgate/Bank proximity. Access to gym is a massive perk and you won't get that for the price in the local area.

Cheap & cheerful
New and practical for a stopover if you miss the last train home or wis to explore London on a budget. Deluxe room had kitchenette. But stone floors were dusty /unvacuumed. No TV, No heating (that I could see) but new and ideal as a cheap stop over, especially with kitchenette. Roof terrace room worth a visit to take up your McDonald's and eat whilst enjoying the view.

2/10 Poor

Not an actual hotel - students NOT business
I made a complaint about this 'hotel' as it presents itself as a luxury apartment. I turned up to find it is a student halls place, which isn't really appropriate for my stay as I was staying on business. The room was bare, although they have sold It as a really nice fully furnished and decorated studio apartment. Looks nothing like the pictures as these are clearly show rooms. There was no iron or hairdryer. The bed is what would be described as a small double and wasn't particularly comfortable and the duvet was really short. The room wasn't clean, i'd left clothes on the floor and when I picked them up they had hairs on them. But the towels were soft as a positive and the view was nice.

2/10 Poor

I don't recommend this place.
It was the worst hotel(actually it's a dormitory) we've used during our trip. We called them to say that we were late than check in time which is 9pm, but they didn't pick up the phone. When we arrived, the staff was there and being very unfriendly to us not properly ansewering why they didn't pick up the phone. When we went inside of the room, basically the celling looked under construction and the spring of the bed was terrible. Also the bed was extremely small which was definitely not for 2 people. The worst part is that all towels had hairs all over them. I felt disgusted so I went to bed without taking shower. And next day, I asked them to give us new towels. Later, the cleaning lady came "inside of the room" with very impatient and rude attitude telling us the towels we have are clean. I told here there is so much hairs and she treated us like we are too sensitive, giving us new towels with hairs again. Please invest a bit more money and stay another place. They are not ready to take guests. (Even if students are fine with this)

Responsibly priced stay
Very well located, stayed for just under a week but only had one room clean although cleaner did try to clean room for a second time but I was in the room due to working late the previous evening. The cleaner does need to knock as he just walked in when I was asleep. Beds not the most comfortable but for the price what do you expect. The room was spacious and suited my needs.
