The hotel/apartment was centrally located and made getting around easy. Sitting on the balcony became one of my favorite pass times. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics so you have what you need to cook and enjoy great meals.

Communication was great with the owners/managers. Olga was exceptionally helpful. Our room, however, was not pleasant. No hot water in the kitchen. No hot water in the bathroom sink plus faucet handle fell off. No shower curtain until we asked for it. Broken toilet roll holder. Handwritten notes asking for maid tip (no service ever) and also to take care of trash (no bags provided), Mop bucket left in room with mop in it. My sister got locked in her room as the door lock jammed. Freezing room. The grounds of the property are lovely, as is the restaurant. I am sure some of the other rooms don’t suffer from the same problems but it made our stay uncomfortable. It makes me sad to write this, but maybe our room was simply overlooked. It should be made clear that this 2-bedroom loft requires a 48 stair climb total. again, Olga was great and was all the communication with the staff.

La estancia fue muy placentera, las áreas comunes son muy bonitas y el trato es muy bueno. Nos sentimos muy cómodos y si te gusta caminar de ahí puedes llegar a casi todos los lugares de interés en Guanajuato sin mayor esfuerzo. Seguro volveremos aquí.

Desde antes de viajar recibí el mensaje de mi anfitriona Mariela, con quien me puse en contacto y me ayudó a agendar un traslado seguro desde el aeropuerto ya que mi vuelo llegó de madrugada. Me facilitó la habitación desde temprano y me ayudó a reservar lugar en un tour. También con un mapa me dio sugerencias de lugares y rutas de recorridos turísticos. El alojamiento tiene vistas bellísimas y un jardín muy hermoso y a un lado está una barra de café muy rico, que te permite iniciar bien desayunado el día. Le agradezco a Mariela y espero regresar pronto.
