Japanese Style Guesthouse
We absolutely loved our stay at Serendipity! It was every clean, well maintained and had everything you needed. A wonderful experience of living in a Japanese style house. An easy walk to the bus stop made it very convenient to travel and see the sights of Kyoto. Chie the owner was extremely kind and helpful and we hope to visit again.

Cosy home in a quiet residential neighborhood.
A good experience to stay in a typical japanese house in a quiet residential neighborhood away from touristy areas. Once we learnt to use the bus lines it was super easy to get around. Chie is extremely friendly and helpful, she came to clean the house and change our towels during our stay.

Beautiful place with excellent owner
We loved staying here. The apartment was so comfortable and the area was so beautiful. There is so much space and it is very cute and traditional. It is located on a quiet little street just a block away from the imperial palace. In addition to all this the owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Excellent value for the money.

- Location bisschen weit vom Downtown.

Warmest Japanese Traditional House :)
loosen the fatigue of travel and Had been comfortable stay
I felt the warm hospitality of the landlord Ms.Chie
The house was a clean. not long after the building was built
And gave more good feeling of traditional Japanese houses decorated with antiques, including a records.
Unfortunately, one kind i've got a damp smell in the house, especially the second floor is more bad.
Overall, a case of great experience who also recommend other travelers.
