Pay attention to the specific class of condo you are booking. We rented “Bare Bones,” which was aptly named! Unit was tired and worn but met our basic needs for 2 nights. Good location if skiing Crystal. LOTS of steps from parking lot. (We counted a total of 109 stair steps from car to our unit...no elevator.) Not many lodging choices if you want to stay at or near the ski resort. Kitchen in the unit comes in handy as there are only 1-2 (?) restaurants on the mountain that are open after the lifts stop and they have limited hours in the evening. Make sure to load up on groceries on your way!!

    Nice condo, good location

Convenient location, short walk to ski lodge. Excellent service and responsiveness by the on site managers. Clean condo, well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. Nice mountain views off the deck.

Beautiful quiet location! Up to date interior and grounds well maintained! Loved the kitchen area, very open. However, the mattresses were extremely hard and need a pad or something. Needs More pillows! Also the mattress pad in sofa bed was heavily stained. Overall great place with those minor improvements!

The bed had a wrapper made in the bed, so clearly the sheets were not clean. There was garbage underneath furniture, unclean silverware, and the general cleanliness was poor. It is disappointing to pay for a "cleaning fee" when the property is not clean. This condo is run down, perfect for a 20-something ski bum, but not for a family expecting a nice time away.

This unit (#534) has been neglected for decades. The carpet, couch and tables were literally disgusting and in a state of disrepair. The counter was literally scotch-taped. The bathroom wasn't very clean. The heat varied from 60 to 80 degrees. There were no extra blankets. There were no pillow cases. The music setup was literally cassette tapes. The owner and property managers have neglected this place since 1975. And there were cockroaches. I feel duped and ripped off. I can handle rustic, but this was less than a 1 star place. I would never go back until the building is demolished and rebuilt. I believe that the other units in the complex must be better....BUT STAY AWAY from unit #534.

    Clean and comfortable

The owner/managers are very helpful in providing info in advance. It is important to read directions carefully, especially about buying all groceries before arrival. The chalet was well-equipped, only a bath mat was missing. Bathroom got rather wet! We would have like some chairs on the deck too, and additional mugs in the kitchen, but they're minor issues. We liked being able to walk to the gondola and local hotel for food/beer in the evening. It would have been rather cramped for 4, it's great for 2 people. Great views and it was very quiet (off season).

We did not receive the lock room code email at all, so we had to call the resort dozens of time to find out the code. Unfortunately no one ever answered. They do not have front desk service, so we were very worried that we couldn't get in. By the time we arrived there was no signal in the area and it was hailing. After we used another inn's phone to contact the resort's manager--the inn has the resort's number because these kind of thing happened many times--some one finally met us at the resort and gave us the code. The nice thing is that the resort room has all kind of kitchen tools and seasonings. We also found over ten board games there. Although the furnitures are a bit old, it's quite nice.
