Amazing location (at the beginning of highway 8 to Merritt) and hotel. Mike & Dorothy are superb hosts and know everything there is too know about the history of the place. The mini museum and artifacts spread around the Inn are cool. My favourite spot - sitting on the back deck watching the nesting Osprey. Would stay again.

The Inn At Spences Bridge is the oldest continuously operating Inn in British Columbia, Established 1862. The Inn is literally filled with history including a museum of photos and artifacts from the past 140 years. The Inn had been completely renovated and it's in great shape, work views from a patio overlooking the river and rail routes. The couple that takes care of the Inn is lovely and fill of information about the area. There are twelve unique rooms available, some with views of a second class one railway which runs across from the hotel. A great experience and must do for history buffs and Rail Fans :)

Such a pretty stop! In a town of only 100 people, the owners of the Inn at Spence’s Bridge have done a great job updating the Inn and making it somewhere you want to stay! My dad and I really enjoyed our stay!!

What a unique old property. Wonky floors, and full of history. Our hosts could not have been more accomodating. Great breakfasts. If your a train enthusiasts you will love this place with tracks on both sides. I had no problem with sleeping. The bed was the best so far on our trip. You have been warned about the trains but would not have changed our bookings for anything. What a great place.

1862 roadhouse which has been much renovated over the years. The history of the place is fascinating if you are a gold rush history buff.
