    Well worth it!

Beautiful building with an excellent location. Lewiston is a great town with lots to do and not far from the Falls. We had a river view room which was nice.

    There’s potential...

Our stay was meant to break up a longer trip, but felt like an imposition. We enjoy stays in older or historic buildings, but the bathrooms appeared both updated and in poor condition simultaneously (we thought there was a spill in the tub but it was damage from a prior incident). Off street parking, while nearby, isn’t friendly to anyone who is elderly or pregnant and requires either walking a significant slope or longer set of stairs uphill. Staff were courteous, but not particularly helpful (had to ask where parking was located and didn’t realize I was successfully checked in until I asked after standing in awkward silence). The in-room refrigerator provided a nominal way to keep drinks or leftovers from dinner cold. We had to keep checking if it was even on. The views were decent and the hotel was walking distance to a handful of restaurants or sites. The room info sheet wasn’t updated regarding breakfast (says 7-10, but they actually end at 9 according to a small COVID-restriction sign we found after the fact in the dining area).

Beautiful place from the outside, rooms were larger than expected, and our room had an amazing view of the Niagara River. A short walk to shops, cafes, and restaurants. We had a great time! One good thing to know- it’s a small town and many shops close around 5pm Saturday's and are closed on Sunday’s.

Great hotel with wonderful, helpful staff. Could walk to so many restaurants and the river was right in front of us. Water pressure in the shower was a little low but the tub pressure was fine and the jets were great!

The staff was amazing. The hotel overall was very clean. The hardwood floor in our room was a first. The floor was not super clean as our white socks quickly shown. Really missed having the mini fridge and microwave but the staff stated they had recently ordered the mini fridges.

Beautiful but In need of some updates

The location was amazing . The front of the hotel overlooks the river and has a wonderful park with swinging benches to relax. It is easily walkable to historic Lewiston’s quaint shops and wonderful restaurants . With that being said we came during off season in early November and during a pandemic so a lot of things were closed or had early close times . Our room was very large but definitely could have used some upgrades . The tv was clearly out of date and the WiFi was horrendous . We asked the front desk multiple times why it would not connect and they kept saying there was nothing wrong with it and it must be our phones which was most definitely not the case . After seeing other reviews we see that we were not the exception. Over all we had a pleasant stay but the lack of tech upgrades was very frustrating considering how close to the border we were with poor reception .
