Did not like the fact that there was minimal food service. Had to drive 30 miles to get a decent meal. There was no servicing of the room during the entire stay. These facts should have been disclosed at the time of booking, not after arrival at the remote property.

Amazing hotel and BEST STAFF EVER.

Had an amazing stay at Canyon Lodge! I have been to many national parks and stayed at MANY Xanterra properties, but have never been to one as great as here! The hotel rooms were so Greg at - clean, larger than I expected and updated with new finishes and features! They were short staffed due to it being the end of the season, and ended up giving us free breakfast and dinner! Even still, their cafeteria was overwhelmed! But with AMAZING employees like their manager and a gentleman named Austin, I could have asked for a better experience. Will absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! So impressed and would return again!!

It was in the perfect location in the park. Fairly central to getting around places. The lodge was clean, staff was very helpful. There was no tv or WiFi in the rooms but that was awesome. Disconnect from the world and go out from sun up to sundown and enjoy nature. That’s the whole point of being there!

This is a nice new lodge compared to most National Park lodges. The rooms are large, comfortable and nicely decorated. However, there is no wi-fi in the rooms (or TV), only spotty wi-fi in public areas - the lobby or outside on the patio - which meant we had to put masks on and congregate with a bunch of other people in order to get wi-fi. This seemed ridiculous during very high Covid numbers in Wyoming. Also, due to lack of staff, the only food option available was a take-out cold breakfast and a take-out hot dinner, with the same 3 items on the menu every night. It was offered free but also required queuing in an enclosed cafeteria for 30 mins at a time so we only did it twice. The rest of the time we made sandwiches in the room since there wasn't a microwave. At over $400 a night, this wasn’t the experience we expected for the price.

Property was very nice, my 2 complaints were, wifi was terrible, and there was no assortment for eating options, same very limited breakfast and dinner options. I appreciated it was included in the price.

the room was clean and nicely kept up. Food at cafeteria was AWFUL. WAITED 1 1/2 hours to get food plopped on our plate. Dry, awful. threw over half of it out.

Room very nice , beds comfortable, good shower; good light from window; quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Good laundry facilities. Refrigerator in room made a lot of noise . Food options at cafeteria were not appealing and were slightly better at store, both of which were within walking distance of lodge.

Great place. Clean. Centrally located with plenty of space for a family of 4. WiFi was always a bit of a struggle so plan on using the business center if something must be done. No TV and no microwave. We were in the lodge so we did have a small refrigerator. Would absolutely stay again. We stayed for 4 nights.
