Room was filthy, including dust build up on the walls, particularly the bathroom. Dirty marks on the carpet and bed linen. Massive hole in the bathroom ceiling. Shower water pressure was abysmal and took several minutes to run hot. Staff were unable to find enough pillows for 2 people to sleep in a double room.

Plus points are the location, cleanliness of the room and the price. Downsides are security of the building, condition of the rooms and facilities ... bit of a mixed bag.

The room was covered in damp stains and with peeling paper from what looked like a leak in the ceiling. There was a strong chemical smell in the room and the carpet was sticky. Cigarette burns on the cabinet, black mould in the shower and a cracked sink. The name "Highland Aberdeen" appears to be fake for online, it's not the name on the hotel. Rooms don't look like the pictures.

Pleasant stay. The room was pretty cold but it was bearable. Check in was an absolute hassle. Was sent an email with directions to send a whats app message. After messages back and forth, finally received another email with the link to check in. Why not just send that in the first place rather than having to send messages to whats app? I Would not book another stay at a OYO hotel for that reason.

This is a very run down property that is used as emergency housing for the homeless and should not be described as a hotel. Very uncomfortable bed and very noisy.
