The property may have been 4* a couple of decades ago, but it is no longer. Sheets were dirty. Mold in the shower and bathroom grout. Mold on the balcony walls. Silverfish bugs. Terrible cleaning practices. Got food poisoning from buffet fish that was clearly not warm enough after taking a bite. The restaurants have ridiculous hours and the main eating areas are more like high school cafeterias than a 4* dining experience. Even the “specialty” restaurants (if you can get in with the stupid bloody website they use) have this cafeteria vibe. If you miss breakfast (which closes at like 9:30am) you’re screwed for food until lunch, because there is no other facility for food or snacks, unless you’re lucky enough to find a bar with some pretzels, which only happened once in our 5 days there. The drinks are handed out in ridiculously small single-use disposable plastic cups which are generating huge amounts of preventable waste, but to their credit the drinks are full-strength. But hey, we are encouraged by signs everywhere to “think green” by not taking too much food and reusing our towels!! The hypocrisy is unbelievable. The common areas and hallways around the rooms are dirty and haven’t seen a mop in years. The whole resort is dilapidated and in need of a major renovation, but the landscaping is pretty, and the view of the bay is incredible. Not enough to get us to come back though. I could go on but I’ve hit my character limit.

I don’t know where to begin. If I could give zero stars I would. The only people who were friendly and looked like they wanted to work at the hotel were the women at check-in. The hotel was “all inclusive” so I guess if you don’t mind eating on a buffet line and in a school cafeteria then this hotel is good for you. The buffet didn’t even offer Italian food. The women who served the “all inclusive” drinks slammed them down at you the drink spilt out of the cup. Espresso was like mud. The resort is huge and on a steep hill so if you are handicap or get tired easily it is not for you. They also had these huge ants all over the property. Can you at least spray the property? The so called beds were horrendous. It was like sleeping on a piece of cardboard with prison sheets. Your entire body felt all the springs. Definitely not for adults who want an authentic Italian experience. Not close to the main town and the beach was not clean. The shuttle that took you to the beach was dirty and hot. I had to end my stay early even though I did not get my money back. Took it as a sunk cost and stayed at a better hotel in Castellammare del Golfo.

Great property, family friendly, Lots to do with kids. The rooms are a bit dated and not well maintained but the grounds are beautiful. Food was okay nothing to rave about the breakfast wasnt worth it. The bars, pools, slides, shops and all all were great.

The location is remote, with no easy way to get out anywhere except by making reservations for the tours. The access to the beach is from 9 am to 7 pm, and often it was closed earlier. The shuttle to the nearby sandy beach is also only until 6:30 pm. I wish it were possible to bet to the beach earlier, before breakfast, as well as later in the evening to see the sunset and water. The food was very good.

For me i think you may divide the people in two times and people who leave food on the table have to pay for it i saw a lot of waste while a lot of people are dying with out food and the money you collect give it to them

The atmosphere is amazing with a lot of activities all day long. Unfortunately the check- in was a huge disorganization. The food is good but you need to go early to find a table otherwise you end up without eating.Booking at special restaurants is a farce, site does not work also customer service does not exists. Also there should be a means of transportation for traveling from one side to another of the resort especially for elder people.

Nice trip to Scicly
I arrived late sunday evening and booking in was very easy and hassle free the room was very clean i was in block nina very close to reception some blocks away off reception and down a lot of steps but next day reception jammed from 11 am to 5pm with people checking in and same most days. the food was italain based varied with pork chicken turkey and plenty of different fish but food hall very packed at all meal times no socail distance but all wearing masks the only downfall is very few staff speak english and the amount of young children i did not realise it was basicly a huge kiddies club very loud but still enjoyed stay could do with adults area for a bit of calmness and qiite

The Potential is Aesome, the Reality isn’t.
It would have been a sight to behold in its prime. It’s a shame that the hotel has become extremely dated and in some areas falling to pieces. We went in October so most of the facility’s weren’t even open anyway, we had professional swimmers in the main pool twice a day every day which ment access was limited and it was the only pool opened. We went exploring around the hotel which was depressing. As a whole our stay was alright but they didn’t have a double bed so we had to push two singles together and actually went out to buy proper bedding ourselves so that we felt comfortable. I think 3/5 is a generous rating as the hotel at most is 2Star establishment as there is no room service and when you go to the bar the bar tender takes 30min breaks at lunch times. The views made the stay acceptable. Won’t be back unless they have a refurbishment.

Checking in took almost 2 hours. We then drove to our building but the gates are all closed blocking the roads so you have to find a spot and lug your stuff a good distance to your room. This truck was awful with 3 tired kids under the age of 5. The slides were cool but smaller than we expected they were also very far from our room and that took another really long walk- a shuttle system would be nice for the whole property (they only have one for the beach). The view was beautiful at this resort; however, their payment card system is a total scam. If you visit only pay cash and insist on change in cash. The food was expensive and not good. Best part of this place was the pool and view. If you plan on lugging your own food and drinks with you go for it.... otherwise I don’t recommend this property.

Two words: WATER SLIDE
THIS WATER SLIDE THOUGH!!! What more is there to say?! Just kidding... the hotel was awesome. Food was delicious and reasonably priced every meal is a buffet. The views are incredible. Friendly multilingual staff. The only complaint i have is there needs to be more employees at the front desk. There’s always a huge line of people and takes for ever to be helped. Otherwise a great overall stay!

Sad Hotel
When researching hotels in the Palermo area, my son saw the water slides and wanted to stay here. I read all of the bad reviews and thought, 'how bad can it be'? We only stayed one night, thank goodness. The hotel is probably the worst that I have ever stayed in. This is an enormous complex with many motel-like buildings with a sad 1980's feel. The exterior is in severe disrepair with broken steps, lights, and tired looking vegetation. We didn't see any groundskeepers other than one who was sweeping cigarette butts in the parking lot. The interior of our room was just as depressing. The size of the room was fine. However, the room has probably never been updated. There weren't any comforting ammenities and the air conditioning barely worked, pumping warm air. We tried to go to the main lobby in the evening to feel better but it was even hotter there! Alas, we retreated back to our room to sleep off the depression in our four, single, stiff beds. We woke the next morning for our kids to ride the water slides, which was the best part of our experience. There were only two attendants manning the slide area...one facing the entire 4-tier slide and one, on another level, facing the sea. Unfortunately, there was no way for the attendant facing the slide to properly control the dangerous behavior of some of the guests who didn't take into consideration the safety of others. Overall, the hotel feels like it is operating at the bare minimum and I cannot recommend it.
